Brought together by a shared love of design, hospitality, and sustainability, we founded Second Course Table to bring that vision to life. Our archival rental collections of dishware, glassware, and flatware feature mismatched vintage, giving your celebration the uniquely special touch it deserves.

Sustainability is a central tenant; giving these pieces a second life through an everlasting design. We revitalize these forgotten gems in design forward curations, adding a modern touch while preserving their inherent charm. Each is hand-selected for its exceptional character—both as an individual treasure and as an embellishment to the whole. Most pieces originate from the last century and are secured from all over the world. It's an act of art to sit around the table, sharing a meal and memories of a lifetime with those you love most...     Our Tables Were Absolutely Magical

    Working with Second Course Table was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. They were professional, communicative, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to work with, but what really sets them apart is their eye for curation. I had a very specific vision for our wedding tables, and Lisa and her team somehow managed to elevate that vision without ever taking it over. They understood exactly what I was trying to create and brought their own artistic eye to it in a way that made everything even more beautiful than I had imagined. Lisa even took the time to connect with our florist before the wedding so they could coordinate and make sure everything worked together beautifully. Every plate felt intentionally chosen, and when the flowers, china, glassware and all of the other details finally came together, the tables were absolutely magical. The entire team went above and beyond for us throughout the process. They are not only professional and talented, they’re artists, and they genuinely care about what they’re creating with you. If you care about the details and want someone who can understand your vision, bring an incredible curatorial eye to it, and make the whole process genuinely enjoyable, I can’t recommend Second Course Table enough. Our tables were everything I had hoped they would be and more.

    Above and beyond!

    The Bouquet collection was spectacular, surprisingly many of our guests stopped to tour around the tables and compared their plates with one another. Such a lovely and creative addition to our wedding celebration!

    I’m so grateful and lucky that I got to have my birthday dinner party styled by Second Course Table!! They seriously went above and beyond to bring my vision to life and make everything look exactly how I had imagined it. Planning a party for 60 people is stressful enough, so having the Second Course team there to take some of that stress off my plate was honestly such a lifesaver. Everything was SO beautiful, from the tablescape to all the little details, and they truly made my fairy garden party dreams come to life!! 🧚‍♀️✨Everyone on the team was so warm, kind, and caring throughout the entire process, and you can genuinely tell how passionate they are about what they do. You can see the love and attention to detail in everything they create, and it made the whole experience feel so special. Seriously a 10/10 experience from start to finish!! I’m so happy with how everything turned out and couldn’t recommend them enough. Already excited to work with them again in the future!!

Our designers passionately secure vintage pieces that would otherwise be discarded, mix and match surprising, yet intuitive place settings, then curate them into aesthetically pleasing, thematic collections. These intricate collections are available to rent for your once in lifetime celebration (without the hassle that comes with taking care of delicate china). We care deeply for creating unforgettable events through the power of hospitality and will do whatever we can to ensure we make your event just as uniquely memorable.
We are based in San Rafael, CA and serve the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sonoma County, but are flexible to surrounding areas. The first 15 miles are included in the delivery and pickup fee. After the first 15 miles, only an additional fee per mile is incurred. There is no additional hourly fee calculated.
Reach out through our contact form or give us a call to schedule your initial consultation. We will send you a proposal and once all the details are worked out and agreed upon, a 50% nonrefundable deposit will be required to reserve your chosen collections for your event. The balance is due 10 days prior to your event date. We will deliver, pick up, and clean your rental. We ask that you rinse off all tableware prior to pickup.
The best way to view our collections is through our website. Once you decide on which interests you most, please reach out to us to see if it’s available for your event. We do not have a showroom at this time, but we will soon! For now, we will do our best to accommodate any questions you may have.
Our collections are curated ready, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your event. If you would like to see something specific or have a special request, please let us know in your consultation, and we will do our best to accommodate!
We are always adding to our collections. At this time we have between 50 and 150 place settings of each collection, but given enough notice we are able to increase our counts substantially for your event.
Each piece is arduously vetted for chips, crazing, and imperfections. Though we cannot guarantee “brand new” condition as some signs of wear may be present due to the archival nature of our tableware, we can guarantee these pieces will look picture perfect on your special day.
Yes there is a $1,000 rental minimum, which we have found is not hard to reach, especially since it includes delivery & fees. Depending on our schedule and availability, we may be open to waiving our minimum, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We’d love to work with you!
