Tangled Blooms was founded by Hudson Valley floral designer Gabrielle Parr. With nearly two decades in construction and interior finishes and five years leading operations and producing large-scale events with Hudson Valley floral studio Heart & Soil Flowers, Gabrielle brings a designer’s eye and a practical understanding of structure, materials, and execution to every event. Her work is rooted in seasonality, movement, texture, and a strong sense of place. Rather than imposing a signature style, Gabrielle creates floral designs that respond to each couple, their venue, and the season—creating installations and tablescapes that feel personal, organic, and entirely at home in their surroundings.

Tangled Blooms combines the eye of a spatial designer with the experience of a high-level event producer to create floral environments that feel inherently connected to the couple, the place, and the season.

    She Took My Vision and Made It Even Better

    I can’t recommend Tangled Blossoms and Gaby enough! I came in with a pretty clear vision for my wedding florals, and from the beginning, Gaby was incredibly communicative and collaborative. She really took the time to understand what I wanted, both through our conversations and visually. She even created a mood board to make sure we were on the same page before moving forward, which gave me so much confidence in the process. What I appreciated most, though, was that she didn’t simply recreate my inspiration photos. She brought her professional eye and experience to the table and suggested ideas she thought I would love — and honestly, they ended up being even better than what I had originally envisioned. She was able to take my ideas, elevate them, and still make everything feel completely like me. She was also excellent at working within my budget without sacrificing the overall vision. At a certain point, I just had to trust her direction, and I’m so glad I did. The final result was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Gaby truly went above and beyond to make everything come together and spared no effort in bringing the vision to life. My advice: give her your inspo photos, tell her what you love, and then let her cook. You’ll end up with something beautiful.

    Beautiful!

    Working with Tangled Blooms was a pleasure from start to finish. Their team took the time to understand our taste and handled all the details with care and thoughtfulness. The flowers they created were stunning and fit our vision perfectly. They created seasonal arrangements with local blooms, and everything was organized down to the last stem. We're so grateful for how they streamlined the whole experience and made an already special day even more beautiful.

    Highly recommend!

    Gabrielle is amazing! She truly went above and beyond to make sure she understood exactly what we wanted when it came to the style, colors, and overall vibe of our flowers. Even when I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted, she guided me with thoughtful recommendations that helped bring my vision to life, both with the flowers and the décor.I absolutely loved my bouquet and all of the floral arrangements she created for our wedding. I also really appreciated her calm and reassuring demeanor during some of the most stressful days leading up to the wedding. Gabrielle was a joy to work with, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and attentive florist!
