Thank you for dropping by and checking out my work. I have been a working makeup artist for over 20 years and I absolutely love what I do. I started down this path behind the makeup counter at Nordstrom in Seattle WA with Lancôme, just a part time job while I was at the UW working on my pre-law requirements. 4 years later I traded the idea of law school for MAC Cosmetics and spent the next 10 years moving all over the country to some of the best cities including Boston, Phoenix, SF and Las Vegas.

Beautiful hair and makeup!
I have been following Anne’s work for a couple of years so when I was finally able to hire her for my elopement in Mt. Rainier I was ecstatic! Anne and her team did hair and makeup for me, my mom, and my mother-in law and we all loved our looks! I knew I wanted something natural and Anne knew exactly the look to provide. Anne was so sweet and a delight to work with. She made everything feel easy through the planning process and the day of. Getting to talk with her while in the chair also really helped put me at ease for the day ahead and helped make the preparation fun instead of stressful. It’s impressive the commitment Anne has to the craft, even to arrive at 1am to do my hair and makeup for a sunrise hike. Even with hiking and some happy tears throughout the day, I couldn’t believe how amazing my hair and makeup still looked! Anne knows all the right products to use to make your hair and makeup long lasting under any condition. Most of all, she made me feel so beautiful! Couldn’t recommend Anne more highly!

Mountain Elopement of my Dreams!
Anne was a dream to work with. She was very communicative from the beginning. During the trial, I showed her photos that were AI generated (I didn’t know it at the time) and Anne worked her magic. She consistently stopped and asked what I might like to change between base, coverage, eye shadow, and lipsticks and listened to what I had to say. She had just recently returned from continuing education trips over the winter and told me what she had learned, and how she was going to use it going forward. At the end of the day, not only was her work exquisite, she was wonderful company. On the day of our elopement, she chatted with me about true crime books and podcasts and with my husband about finance, tech and AI podcasts. She was just generally fun to be around, as well as exceptional in her work. It was a wonderful start to our important day.

Wonderful Team!
Anne Timss Makeup and Hair was a pleasure to work with for our wedding day. Their communication style was clear, direct, and they listened closely to all our requests. The quality of their work was simply beautiful, fun, and wonderful. Anne's team, which included Kirsten and Liz, arrived on time and efficiently got 6 ladies ready on schedule. They made everyone feel truly gorgeous and went above and beyond to ensure all our hair and makeup needs were met. Anne's team also asked great questions upfront to understand exactly what we wanted, which really showed their dedication to providing an exceptional experience. Amazing and made our day of simply beautiful!
Anne was so professional and easy to work with for coordinating our wedding which was out of town but not quite a "destination". Liz and Kirsten were our hair and make up artists for my trial and for our day of and simply ROCKED it! They both went above and beyond, made everyone feel so comfortable especially since most of us rarely wear make up at all, were very friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly and kept to the timeline/schedule by some miracle so nothing ran late. Everyone was so happy with how they looked including myself (bride), 2 mothers, 3 bridesmaids, a goomswoman, and even the groom!
