Hi! My name is McKenna but friends call me Kenna! Hence ‘KosmoKenna’ :) Im a licensed cosmetologist for over 10 years now. Always loved anything to do with hairstyling & makeup. Id say my styles are natural but still glam for makeup & for hair Id say theyre boho, whimsical, & texturized styles. I LOVE braids. If youre looking for slicked back/princess diaries updos, Id say Im not the stylist for you. Yes, there is an $800 minimum. Which is roughly equivalent to 5-6 services or if you don’t meet minimum, I’d be staying onsite for any touch ups or a change of looks until you meet the minimum!

I loved my wedding day hair! I was able to provide some inspirational pictures to work with, even thought I wasn't dead set on what I wanted exactly. It still came together perfectly thanks to KosmoKenna :)

SO glad I went with KosmoKenna!
After reading tons of reviews on Zola and having lots of DM convos, I chose Mckenna for my wedding day hair and makeup. And I am SO glad I did!! First, she was extremely professional. She communicated clearly throughout the process and even sent a PDF with all her services and prices before I booked. Second, she is such a kind, thoughtful person. She has a warm and calming presence and I felt totally cared for. She was such a wonderful addition to my wedding morning! Third, even though I booked her pretty last-minute, she was still able to accommodate all of my requests, including bringing a second person to do hair and makeup for some of my bridesmaids/family, who also did an awesome job! McKenna really made the whole process as stress-free as possible for me, which, as you know if you're reading reviews, is CLUTCH during the wedding process (especially if you have decision paralysis and leave bookings to the last minute)! And finally, she did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup!! I wanted a fairy/cottagecore style, with lots of sparkles and live flower buds braided into my hair. She absolutely NAILED it!!! I genuinely loved my hair and never wanted to take it out. I felt like a magical fairy princess! And, even though it was TOTALLY secure and stayed perfect all night, it looked completely soft and flowy and natural. She's an absolute hair whisperer. I have genuinely thought about hiring her again just to have that hairstyle for something like a birthday?? I just want to feel that magical again! My makeup was also exactly what I asked for. I wanted to look like myself, just...a little more magic and sparkle. She was able to elevate my natural features without making me look like a different person. 11/10 would hire her again! All that is to say, if you choose KosmoKenna, you will feel absolutely flawless on your wedding day. I did my research (literally, I made a spreadsheet!!), and she came out on top. And I am so glad I got to have her as my glam squad on my big day! If you're considering her, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Above and beyond
I cannot recommend KosmoKenna for hair and makeup enough! From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. She made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. As the wedding day became a little chaotic, she went above and beyond to keep me calm and reassured. Her professionalism and positive attitude made such a difference during a very emotional and busy day. She not only made me look absolutely beautiful and flawless, but she also made me feel beautiful and confident—something I will always appreciate and remember. My bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning as well, and everyone felt so beautiful and confident. She truly helped make our wedding morning so special and stress-free. I am so grateful for her talent, kindness, and the care she put into making us all feel our absolute best. If you are looking for someone who is talented, professional, calming, and genuinely cares about her clients, I highly recommend her!

McKenna is a goddess when it comes to hair!
KosmoKenna was an amazing artist to work with. From the very first contact, her communication was quick, friendly, and thorough. She listened closely to my vision and delivered exactly what I wanted based on the pictures I shared. The quality of her work is efficient, amazing, and the final look was absolutely beautiful. McKenna was super easy to communicate with and she went through everything I needed to know. She takes her time and is very professional. She knows what she is doing and ensures that she matches everything she can to what you need. McKenna made my day getting ready a dream. I didn't have a wedding party so we kept it really chill and calm with my mom and MIL. My makeup and hair lasted ALL night through all the dancing and chaos!!
