With over 25 years of experience in bridal makeup artistry and a license in esthetics, I bring both technical skill and skincare knowledge to every application. My background also includes film, print, and commercial work, but bridal makeup remains my true passion. There's something special about being part of someone's wedding day. My approach centers on hygienic technique and customized application, tailored to each client's features and vision. Bridal Trial Run + Day of Bridal Makeup Trial runs are your chance to figure out your wedding day look before the big day. We'll chat about your vision, look through your inspiration photos, and cover skincare prep. Your wedding day is the most important day to get your makeup right, and that's exactly what I'm here for. I'll arrive on-site to create your finished bridal look, tailored to you, your dress, and your vision for the day. *travel fee not included

I offer bridal makeup services in the SF Bay Area, including trial runs and day-of applications, bridal party makeup, and special occasion makeup all on-location, so I come to you wherever your event takes place.

Bridal Package: $300 Bridesmaids/MOB/MOG/Guests: $150.00 Trial Run: $200 Special Occasion: $200 *A minimum booking applies for all services. A travel fee will be applied based on location. Other fees may apply.
I keep things easy and low-pressure. I'll always be honest with you, if something isn't working, I'll say so, but at the end of the day, this is your day and your look, so if there's something specific you want, I'll make it happen. And you can count on me to be punctual and prepared, especially on your wedding day.
I'll bring everything needed — makeup, chair, and lighting. All I ask is for a small table, preferably near a window for natural light.
I recommend starting a consistent skincare routine 3-4 months before your event to give your skin time to respond. I'll bring skin prep products for the day, but your skin should be clean and moisturized beforehand. If you have sensitive skin, stick to the products you normally use to prep
I can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people (6 max) on my own. For larger parties or weddings with tighter timelines, I'll do my best to bring in an assistant for an additional fee. If I'm unable to find one, I'll let you know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
If you're local to Redwood City and surrounding cities, the trial run can take place at your location. If you're outside the area, we'll arrange a convenient location near Redwood City, typically in San Carlos or Redwood City.
Yes, the early morning fee is as follows: Before 7am - $140.00 Before 6am- $180.00 Before 5am - $250.00
Trials typically run 60–90 minutes and are $200. If we need more time than scheduled, additional time is billed at $100 per hour (or part of an hour).

    Fun, talented, and experienced makeup artist!

    25 years ago Kristen did an amazing job on myself and my mom and for my wedding and since then I have seen her do dozens of brides and their wedding parties with the most recent being a few months ago. She is able to make people of every age, skin tone, and race look incredible! I have recommended her to everyone I know. My teen daughters learned so much by having their makeup done by Kristen. She is truly a special talent! Besides that she has a warm, positive, fun, calming demeanor that makes her exactly who you want to be around on a busy important day.     Kristen was the BEST

    I had my wedding makeup done by Kristen and I could not be more happy with that decision. As someone who doesn’t wear makeup often, I really wanted my bridal look to feel light on my skin as well as look more light and natural. She was able to give me a look that was exactly what I wanted and it lasted all night! My makeup lasted through a 95 degree ceremony, kissing *clink clink*, happy tears, dinner, drinks, and a ridiculous amount of dancing. Aside from the fantastic work she did, Kristen was so professional, on-time, pleasant, and helped ease my day-of nerves. I cannot recommend her enough!
