So disappointed
I had a very disappointing experience with PriscillaM Beauty for my wedding, and unfortunately, I would not recommend their services for such an important occasion. I do want to acknowledge that the email scheduler was very kind and responsive with communication leading up to the wedding. When one of the makeup artists did not show up on the wedding day, the scheduler also addressed the issue, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the missing artist immediately put the schedule under additional pressure, and the rest of the experience did not go as I had hoped. My hair service ran significantly over the agreed-upon timeline. The braid was not what I had asked for or expected, and the curls did not hold even until I left the room. Because the hair took so long, I was running late for my first look and had essentially no time to make changes or address my concerns. There was also an additional charge for a bridesmaid’s hair that was handled in a particularly uncomfortable way. I was in my underwear trying to get into my wedding gown when I was approached and pressured for payment. Given the circumstances and how rushed everything already was, this felt extremely inappropriate and stressful. What was most frustrating was being asked to sign a waiver stating that I was satisfied with the services. I was not satisfied, but by that point there was no realistic opportunity to have anything corrected because the services had already gone over time and I needed to leave for my first look. I understand that wedding days can be hectic and that unexpected things happen, and I appreciated the scheduler’s communication and response to the missing makeup artist. However, communication, time management, and professionalism are especially important when someone is relying on you for their wedding day. Unfortunately, my overall experience with PriscillaM Beauty fell well short of what I expected, and I regret not feeling that I had the opportunity to address the issues before I had to leave. I’m sharing this review so that other brides can make an informed decision when choosing their hair and makeup team for such an important day.

Although your wedding took place approximately two years ago, we still appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that you look back on parts of your wedding morning with disappointment. We understand how important it is for a bride to feel calm, supported, and confident on such a significant day, and we recognize how stressful an unexpected change to the beauty team can feel in the moment. As you mentioned, one of the scheduled makeup artists was unexpectedly unable to attend that morning. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances like this can occasionally arise despite careful planning. As soon as our team was informed, we notified you right away and immediately worked toward the best available resolution using the beauty professionals and resources available that day. Our team was able to pivot and provide coverage so that your party could continue receiving services and would not be left without support. We also followed up with you and refunded the additional artist fee and associated travel fee for the artist who was unable to attend. We truly appreciate your acknowledgment of our coordination team’s responsiveness and communication throughout the situation. We also understand that you had concerns regarding other aspects of the morning. We respect your perspective and appreciate you sharing how the experience felt from your point of view. While certain unforeseen circumstances may be outside of our immediate control, how we respond to them is incredibly important to us. Our priority is always to communicate promptly, find the best possible solution with the resources available, and do everything reasonably within our control to support our clients and keep their wedding day moving forward. Working with PriscillaM Beauty was one of the best decisions we made for my wedding day. From our first conversation, they were quick to respond and gave us clear answers to every question we had. PriscillaM Beauty is Amazing!!
I had a great experience working either PriscillaM Beauty for my wedding. I had both my hair and makeup done as the bride and had my bridesmaids hair done and they did an absolutely fantastic job. My makeup stylist, Giselle, was incredible and make me feel so beautiful and listened to what I wanted from my makeup and made it happen. My hair stylists, Christina and Tiara and they did so wonderful. Christina even stayed late for me to take getting ready photos so she would be able to put my veil in and I felt so special. They were easy to schedule even though I hadn’t thought about hair and makeup until 3 months out and they worked with me on everything. I highly recommend trusting them with your big day - you’ll look back and love how you look.

Beautiful and easy for your special day
The company overall is very easy to work with. Prompt and effective communication. My specific artists for the day-Erica and Maria-were fantastic and made me look so beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Find a Different Company
I would not recommend this company. I am very convinced that only the actual make-up artists live in the area, and that everyone else is located overseas. They are not quick with response times, and they changed my trial appointment so many times that it began to feel as if they did not take my timeline or my feelings into consideration. They would simply send me a new date and time without asking. When I asked how they planned to compensate for the lack of communication and the constant rescheduling (at one point they wanted me to have a trial on a random Sunday at 7:00 AM), they told me that there was nothing they could do because the contract states no refunds. This was despite the fact that they were the ones putting me in a position where I had to change the date or lose my money. The one time I spoke with someone on the phone, the person did not sound understanding at all. Their prices are also not reasonable for such a chaotic company. My artist, however, was amazing. She listened to everything I wanted, and I would gladly contact her privately to use her services again if I could.
