Hi, I'm Megan, the owner and lead bridal hairstylist behind The Bridal Wave! I'm all about boho, beachy hair vibes, think effortless twists, textured braids, soft beach waves and romantic styles that feel beautiful without feeling overdone. As The Bridal Wave has grown, so has my team! I've built a talented hair and makeup team of artists who share the same passion for weddings, attention to detail, and commitment to making the morning feel relaxed, organized, and stress free. I genuinely care about my brides and their experience. Your wedding morning should be fun, calm, and filled with excitement! I'm here to make sure you feel taken care of, feel beautiful and can enjoy every moment leading up to walking down the aisle.

What truly sets me apart as a bridal hair & makeup team is my attentiveness and attention to detail. I'm someone who double (and triple!) checks everything, I'm always punctual, you can count on me to arrive at least 30mins before the scheduled start time. All reservations require a signed contract as well as a non-refundable, non-transferable retainer fee. The retainer fee is applied towards the overall total. All bookings are booked on a first-come first-serve basis.
Megan is an independent artist therefore typically works solo, however if the party size is over 8 and not wanting an early start time, additional stylists can be hired through Megan.
I can start anytime, but there is a early riser charge to the overall total for start times before 7:00 AM. 5:00 AM - 6:45 AM $100 4:00AM - 4:45 AM $150 3:00AM - 3:45 AM $200
Yes! All wedding day services are preformed on-site. Any location more than 2 hours outside of San Diego will require a hotel stay to ensure proper rest and readiness. These bookings should be arranged in advance. For out of state weddings, it is the client's responsibility to cover all necessary travel expenses, including airfare, transportation (car rental), and hotel accommodations. For an accurate quote tailored to your event, please inquire directly with your event details.

    Daughter's Wedding

    Amazing!

    Megan was SO much fun to work with! She did an amazing job with my own hair as well as my bridesmaids, everyone loved their styles. Can confirm mine stayed in even during back handsprings on the dance floor. She is awesome!
