Yin Tom Studio provides (1) waterproof airbrush makeup and (2) hairstyling services for a range of events, including but not limited to the following: (3) bridal makeup, (4) fashion makeup, (5) boudoir makeup, (6) natural makeup, etc... I am also skilled in (7) eyebrow shaping, and (8) false lash application.

In fourteen years of professional experience, Yin has worked with brides, fashion designers, photographers and models to design beautiful, elegant and fashionable styles. She understands that each situation requires a different look, and therefore starts each engagement by meeting with the client/designers to discuss their desired look. Then the fun begins! With a few clever strokes of makeup combined with some deft hair design, Yin accentuates and exemplifies the personal beauty of each client. The best part of her job is making dreams come true!

    Must work with Yin!!!!! 12/10

    I had heard about Yin from a friend who used her for her wedding and raved about the experience - so I booked a trial. The trial was convenient and although I wanted a natural look, we decided to go a little more heavy handed to see if that was something I wanted. I ended up wanting something in the middle and Yin did an amazing job incorporating that into my wedding day. On my wedding day Yin Tom did both my hair and makeup as well as the hair and makeup for our bridal party and mothers. She worked with her teammate Kettia. On the wedding morning, they kept everything running smoothly and stress-free, which meant we could actually enjoy getting ready instead of worrying about timing. The getting ready was actually one of the highlights of the day - everyone had a great time and loved the way they looked. The quality of their work was truly professional and made everyone look and feel beautiful—even my mom, who originally didn't want her makeup done, asked to have it added once she saw how great everyone looked! Yin was friendly, flexible, and incredibly organized throughout the entire process. We can't thank her enough for making our morning so special.

    Long Lasting Hair and Makeup!

    Yin and her team did a great job on both hair and makeup services on my summer wedding day. Her makeup and hair application stayed the entire summer day and I received compliments from so many people in my wedding party that her makeup application was some of the best they've ever had since it lasted and looked beautiful while also very natural. My hair style also stayed and the curls held into the evening even after it rained after the reception. She came recommended to me from my cousin after she did her wedding and she is now also going to the HMU artist for my other cousins' wedding later in the fall of this year so her quality of work definitely speaks for itself. She has so much experience under her belt and was so accommodating to our timelines and getting ready location. Her team delivered beautiful looks for all of my wedding party who had differing complexions and hair types! Her quality of work is great - I cannot recommend her enough!

    Professional and skilled!

    Yin was great to work with! She was very professional and welcoming. As someone of East Asian descent I was worried about getting a makeup artist who was familiar with my features. Yin did a great job of making me look both natural and elevated for my wedding!

    Highly recommend Yin’s services!

    It was an absolute pleasure working with Yin for my wedding day hair and makeup. From the trial, I could tell how deeply Yin cares about her clients and her craft. She is professional and experienced, and she is energetic and bubbly. I knew very quickly that I could place my utmost faith into Yin’s expertise to make me look and feel beautiful on our big day. Additionally, I compared pricing and portfolios across many hair and makeup artists in the Boston area and Yin was a great value for her services.     Loved my bridal hair and makeup!

    Yin did my hair and makeup for our wedding, and I loved her work. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup and I wanted a subtle, natural look. I appreciated that she really listened to my preferences and reviewed my inspiration pictures, and then she gave me her professional advice based on the venue, season, dress and photographer. In the end, I feel like we worked together to create a look that was special for the occasion, but still felt natural and very much like myself. She was punctual and very sweet on the day of the wedding. I particularly remember being nervous and not feeling the lip color anymore, and she kindly adjusted it until I was completely happy with it. My wedding party was also pleased with the results. I am very glad I chose her! I even reached out to her afterwards for a makeup class where she taught me how to use my products, and I was happy with that as well.
