Hello! My name is Alexis and I am a wedding photographer serving Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and destinations beyond. I create natural, elegant, artful wedding photography for the adventurous, romantic, classic couple in love. I have eight years of professional wedding photography experience. I've had the opportunity of capturing the most achingly beautiful love stories around the globe, from intimate chapel weddings in Greek villages, traditional cathedral weddings in the city, and now the large familial celebrations in the iconic capital city of Washington DC.
I am also a wife and mom with deep Mediterranean roots. I strongly value faith, family, culture, and tradition. I strive to give an excellent client experience start to finish and quality images that are worth passing down from generation to generation. Together we will create timeless, romantic images that tell the joyful story of your marriage and your family as it continues to grow.

The Best!!
We couldn’t have had a better wedding photographer! From the very beginning, Alexis was professional, responsive, and so easy to work with. She made us feel at ease and comfortable during our engagement shoot as well as on our wedding day. One of the things we appreciated most was how much she cared about making sure our wedding photos felt personal to us. Before the wedding, she took the time to plan with us which photos were most important to us, making sure we didn’t forget any of the special family, friends, and moments we wanted captured. On our wedding day, she was organized and made everything feel so easy and stress-free. She captured all of the moments we had hoped for, along with so many beautiful candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening. We highly recommend Alexis to any couple looking for a photographer who is incredibly talented, thoughtful, and wonderful to work with!

Alexis created a treasured keepsake!
One of the best decisions that we made when planning our daughter’s wedding was being given the name of Alexis El Massih Photography and signing the contract almost immediately following our conversation. From our first conversation, I quickly learned that Alexis is passionate about her work and capturing the moments of a very special day! Alexis is a joy to work with as well as her team. She works with the couple to get to know them and brings out the joy in their relationship which is captured by her incredible talent. She is also very creative with her pictures. My daughter presented her an idea for some pictures and Alexis’ imagination and creativity was evident in what are some of the most unique and loved pictures from the day! Alexis created a fantastic keepsake of a most memorable and beautiful day for our daughter and her husband which will be treasured for a lifetime.

Alexis is incredible!
We love Alexis!! From our very first Zoom call, we knew she was going to be our wedding photographer. She is so warm, welcoming, and genuine, and she made us feel completely comfortable from day one. Throughout the entire planning process, Alexis was incredibly organized, communicative, and thoughtful. She kept us on track, was always available to answer questions, and made what can be a stressful process feel so easy. Our engagement session only confirmed we had made the right choice. Alexis took the time to get to know us, making the photos feel natural and true to who we are. We are definitely not people who know how to pose (lol), but she has such a calm, effortless way of directing. She never made anything feel forced and always reassured us, allowing us to relax, be ourselves, and have fun! On our wedding day, Alexis captured every moment so beautifully while allowing us to stay fully present. She has an incredible eye for both the big moments and the quiet, meaningful ones, and when we received our gallery, it truly felt like we were reliving our wedding day all over again. Beyond her talent, Alexis genuinely cares about her couples, and it shows in everything she does.
