I’m Amy - the one behind Amy Leigh Photography. I am an event and portrait photographer capturing lasting memories for those all over Long Island. Since then, I've worked with many companies as a Professional Freelance Photographer. From School Portraits, many DJs, and on to Wedding Photographers; I've had a lot of experience in the field. But there is still nothing like working for yourself and being able to connect with your clients.
Amy Leigh Photography’s mission is to capture memories that you never want to forget. We love color, natural light and genuine smiles. Specializing in Events and Portraits, we have a team of photographers and videographer that work together in order to supply the coverage necessary for any event. We cover everything from birthday parties to weddings throughout Long Island.

Absolutely fantastic
Working with Amy Leigh Photography has been a genuine pleasure from start to finish. From our first conversation, Amy was personable and relatable—she listened carefully to what we envisioned for our day and took detailed notes to ensure nothing was overlooked. On the wedding day itself, she was incredibly easygoing and executed our requests with precision and care. The sneak peeks we've received so far have been absolutely stunning, giving us a glimpse of the incredible final product to come. While we're still waiting for our complete album (they deliver within 6-8 weeks), these previews alone have us completely confident in her work. I'd absolutely recommend Amy Leigh Photography to any couple looking for a photographer who genuinely cares about capturing your story.

Loved working with Amy
Amy photographed our wedding and she was fantastic! We got all of the shots we wanted and some we didn’t know we needed! I am naturally a very shy person who does not like to be in photos, but everything was so laid back and easy! We were able to enjoy every aspect of the day while Amy captured it all!

Best Decision!
We can't say enough wonderful things about Amy - hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were very intimidated by wedding photography and couldn't seem to find the right fit until we met Amy. Not only does Amy take stunning photos, she really helped set the perfect tone for our wedding day and captured the family-oriented, laid back, and fun spirit of our day. Despite not having a solo first dance or a dedicated song/time to dance with our parents, Amy found a way to capture the exact moments she knew we wanted and was right there when we did grab each other for a dance or find our parents to dance with. We had our reception and took photos in my parents' backyard and Amy got creative to find every perfect angle to capture our portraits and candids. One of our favorite photos was actually taken in the driveway - framed so beautifully with the most incredible lighting it looked like we were in Tuscany! Amy also remembered every detail of our initial meeting - gathering our college friends for a group photo she remembered that we had requested and helping us wrangle cousins for a family photo she knew we wanted. We are so in love with our photos and the way Amy captured our wedding day!
