I've been taking photos ever since I got my first digital camera in high school. Capturing my friends having fun has always put a smile on my face. Photographing weddings is much the same: people throwing a fantastic party where everyone has a great time and I'm there to help you remember through photos.

What makes me different? I'm easy. I won't make you get into uncomfortable poses or look like Vogue models or take you away from your party. I capture your wedding day without getting in the way. The vast majority of the photos I take are of the candid moments as they happen with no intervention.

    Colin is the bomb!

    I'm a pretty laid-back person and went into wedding planning with minimal knowledge of what it takes to pull everything together, so I was grateful when a coworker recommended Colin Hayden Photo. From our first conversation, he kept me in the loop at every stage and never made me feel rushed despite my scattered approach to planning. What impressed me most was how he adapted to our family's needs on the day itself—he stayed patient and professional while working around our chaotic timeline. Colin brought real expertise to the table and guided us through the process without ever being pushy or making us feel rushed. The photos turned out beautifully, but honestly, the experience of working with him was just as valuable as the final product. I'd absolutely recommend him to any couple looking for a photographer who genuinely cares about making the day less stressful.

    Incredible photos!

    Colin Hayden did a phenomenal job with our photos! He captured the absolute best candids of our friends and family and was so much fun to work with. My wife and I typically aren't the biggest photo takers, so he made the process enjoyable and quick so that we could get the staged photos we needed and moving on quickly to capturing awesome candid shots of the entire event. He even joined us in the parking lot to photograph us with my wife's grandfather, who was unable to make it to the wedding. He was super flexible with requests as they came up by us and family members. He captured the best action shots on the dance floor that we will cherish forever! I cannot recommend him enough. He edits the photos so well to look so natural and colorful. He was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with before, during, and after the event.

    Great man, great photos!!

    We first connected with Colin because he made us feel so comfortable, we knew that he would help us feel relaxed and enjoy ourselves, even when taking photos we knew we’d be thinking about forever (which was a stressful idea). He kept us and our loved ones laughing and smiling organically, and even midway through dinner was showing some beautiful first shots, which just sent my confidence skyrocketing to see us looking so magical and having this beautiful moment captured so perfectly. There were even photos of moments he caught without us knowing, giving us the full perfect candid experience. Colin gave us the best of both worlds, stunning photos and a fantastic experience!

    Attentive, creative, professional photographer

    From the moment we first spoke with Colin Hayden, we knew we had found our wedding photographer. His proactive, approachable, and professional communication style put us at ease throughout the entire planning process, including our pre-wedding engagement shoot which really helped us get comfy with being photographed. On the day of our wedding, Colin and his talented second photographer were everywhere, capturing all the special moments with their high-quality, realistic, and romantic photographic style. We barely noticed them working, but when we sat down for dinner, they surprised us by handing over a few printed photos - what a thoughtful touch! Colin really listened to our priorities, focusing on documenting the full day, especially our friends and family during reception and on the dance floor, while minimizing time spent on portraits, ensuring we got all the posed photos we wanted without dragging out the process.     Amazing - Provides Great Guidance for Posing

    Colin was extremely professional, and such a pleasure to work with. He was really helpful with figuring out how to pose, and also personalizing the shoot to our personalities. Most of my couples reach out to me about 10-12 months before their wedding date. The fairest way I can fill my calendar is on a first-come-first-served basis. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I will also do minor retouching like blemish removal and teeth whitening for the most important moments. While I try to make every photo look as best I can I also want to represent things as they were, no dreamy photoshopping.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. From the gallery you'll be able to download any or all of your photos, order prints, and invite friends and family to view it too.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them or bring it with me on the day of your event.
