When I'm not shooting weddings, I’m a total beach bum. This might sound like an oxymoron coming from a native Montrealer, but I adore the ocean (and very much dislike winter). I swim and surf whenever possible, and I get out to the Rockaways as often as I can. I do a ton of beach photography, including a series about couples at the beach, and I’ve been published a few times, including here and here. If you see me at the beach, come say hi, and let’s have a frozen drink together.

    You Can Stop Searching - Book Erica!

    Erica is the BEST! Choosing the right photographer feels like one of the most important decisions you can make for your wedding. Of course you want a talented photographer who will capture the best of every moment. You also want someone you can trust, who has scouted out your locations in advance, who knows how to get all your best angles, who can capture all of the small, candid moments you’ll never want to forget, who makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, can roll with any last-minute changes, and is completely supportive / your biggest fan on your day. I promise – Erica is that person! She is extremely easy to get along and work with and her preparation and professionalism helped my wife and I relax and just enjoy the day. Our sneak peek photos are incredible and we could not wait to share them with friends and family. We feel so fortunate to have had Erica and Edith with us for everything. From two very satisfied newlyweds, we HIGHLY recommend!!

    Our New Favorite Photos of Us

    Erica was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. In addition to having an impressive artistic eye, she's great at staying on schedule without rushing anyone. Erica is also wonderful with people and knows how to make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, which absolutely shows in the finished product. Our sneak peek album (delivered two days after the wedding, a great way to combat post-party blues!) perfectly captured the joy of our wedding through candid and posed shots. We can't wait to see the rest of them!

    She is the BEST! Highly recommend.

    Erica was absolutely the best, we chose her because we liked her style and that her shots looked very natural. As someone who is very uncomfortable in front of the camera, this was important to me, and on the day I felt very relaxed and was able to truly enjoy the moments with my partner while she captured them. She took the time to meet with us months before the wedding to make sure we were comfortable the day of, and captured our day beautifully (while also helping make sure we were organized and didn’t veer too far off schedule!). I highly highly recommend her!

    I can't recommend Erica enough!

    Erica was a dream to work with! She captured my engagement and wedding photos so beautifully - I've gotten emotional and cried happy tears each time I've gone through our gallery of photos for the first time.     Erica Is Phenomenal!

    As a wedding planner, I absolutely LOVE working with Erica. She's incredibly responsive, communicative, and professional leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. My couples adore her and I know they are always going to be in great hands with her. She has a knack for making people comfortable in front of the camera, even if they have some jitters initially, and capturing all of their love and energy. I guarantee a sneak peek within 48 hours of your wedding day, and full gallery delivery within 6-8 weeks of your wedding!
Yes! I pride myself on my editing, and I touch all final images for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I include light retouching like blemish removal and have a small fee for more complicated retouching.
In my years of experience a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I have a strong network of amazing photographer colleagues and friends, as well as second shooters, who I would have shoot in my place. I would also edit all the photos to ensure you are getting the results you wanted.
I donate a portion of each wedding to a cause I care about, including the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and RAICES. In some instances, couples choose an issue that is closer to their heart. My photography is a reflection of each couples' unique story; I will force posing, gendered stereotypes or traditions on you.
