I like my photos warm, my people a little weird, and my moments genuine. Seven years behind the camera and I'm still convinced the best photos happen somewhere between the poses. Forever In The Day Photography was built around one simple idea: there is magic in the mundane. I'm a storyteller at heart, and photography gives me a way to hold onto the tiny pieces of life that otherwise disappear too quickly. The laughs, the tears, the chaos, the quiet, and everything in between. That's the stuff I love.

I don't want to make your wedding look like everyone else's. I want to capture what makes it yours. I'll pose you when you need me to, tell you what the heck to do with your hands, fix a flyaway, and help keep things moving. But I'm always watching for what happens in between. Your grandma tearing up, your best friend losing it on the dance floor, the look you give each other when you think no one is watching. I don't cap galleries either. If I capture a moment worth remembering, it's yours. Simple as that.

Best Photographer There Is!
My relationship with my husband grew up with Forever in a Day photography in our life. From early dating, to my big day, I have always been able to count on quality pictures. However, she is more than just a photographer. She always helps me feel confident and guided us through what could’ve been awkward scenarios. She is professional, yet open. When I ran behind, she helped entertain my family! If I could recommend one Wedding Day vendor, it is without a doubt forever in a day photography. I included other (non-wedding) examples of her work as well, so that you can see multiple settings!

Working with Forever In The Day Photography LLC was such a smooth experience from start to finish. She was easy to communicate with and understood exactly what we wanted even when we weren't sure ourselves. She captured our engagement session and wedding day beautifully, even getting the small details of our day and we got our sneak peeks back right away which was incredible. The final gallery came through so fast too, and honestly, every single photo is stunning. We love looking back at them and appreciating the care she put into every shot. We'd recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who's both professional and genuinely nice to work with.

As someone who doesn't always feel comfortable being photographed, I can't say enough good things about my experience with Nakai. She made me feel at ease, gave great direction, and captured some truly beautiful photos that made me see myself in a different light. The whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish, and the final images were amazing. I'm so grateful for her talent and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

Forever In The Day is absolutely amazing! She did my engagement shoot for my fiancé and I. She was affordable and helped make us comfortable in front of the camera as it was our first time. Will definitely be asking her to do any future photo shoots for us!
