Ever since I moved to New York, the city has become an extension of who I am, of who I could become, and who I am constantly becoming. Chasing after a nameless feeling, and after stories unfolding all around me. Ever since I discovered the power of documenting people’s legacy, a few things have remained constant. My appreciation for human connection, and my love for creating. For capturing the way couples fall in love, the way they laugh together, the way they dance together, the way they get married, and the way they say “I love you” without ever needing to say the words.

As I continue to grow and learn more about myself every day, I can’t help but reflect on how much this city and its people have given me, and on how it has shown me the tools that I for so long searched for and that were already in me. For me, photography has always been about intention. About paying attention to the people in front of me, and to the meaning behind every moment. I see it as a practice of noticing and preserving what matters most, so that years from now those same moments can be felt again.

I don't even know where to start because I genuinely believe I hired the most talented human being on the planet to photograph my wedding. From the very beginning, Juan didn't just show up and take pictures, he helped coordinate the entire day and kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Having someone that calm, organized, and talented in your corner on your wedding day is priceless. Juan knew exactly where to be and when, captured moments I didn't even realize were happening, and somehow made all of us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera the whole time. I haven't even seen the photos yet and I already know they're going to be some of my most treasured possessions for the rest of my life. This was the best day of my life, and having someone this skilled and this thoughtful capturing it made it even more special. If you're looking for a photographer, stop scrolling and book them. You will not regret it for a single second.

Juan is everything you could want in a photographer and more. He is exceptionally professional, and has the most amazing eye for detail. I turned so much over to his artistic vision and he exceeded all expectations. I cannot rave about him enough, but I feel like his photos speak for themselves.

Cannot Recommend Enough!
My (now) husband and I eloped in NYC and hired Juan to document the experience and I am so grateful we did!! Juan is the kindest, easiest person to work with and a wonderfully creative photographer. We spent the day taking photos in front of City Hall, Joe's Pizza, and the NY Public Library and time just flew by! We're obsessed with how our photos turned out and love that we get to look back on this day forever :)
