Q: Where are you located?

I’m located in Chicago in the Logan Square area but I’ll travel anywhere you would like to go!

Q: Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples?

Yes! As a member of the community myself, I’m always so excited to work with LGBTQ+ couples & make sure all of my contracts + forms are completely gender-free & ask for your pronouns so that everybody can be comfortable + referred to properly during their session!

Q: My venue requires vendors to have insurance, do you have insurance?

Yes, I do! More than happy to send over proof of insurance for anyone who needs it!

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Q: How do you backup your files?

I’m sure we’ve all heard horror stories about photographers losing irreplaceable images due to equipment failures, I do everything in my power to make sure this never happens! Every camera I use during a session saves all images taken onto two different memory cards at once & I import them the second I get home! After importing, I keep one set on my laptop, one set on my external hard drive, & one set in cloud storage so that if anything were to happen, I still have a backup I can access. I also will never use a memory card for another session until your photos have been fully edited & delivered.

Q: Do you offer a second photographer?

Yes, I offer packages both with and without them! My husband Jake is my second most of the time! In the case that he is not available for your wedding day, I do have a handful of other photographers I work with regularly and I’ll be able to let you know about 1 week out who your second is going to be so you at least know names!

Q: I've never done professional photos before, how does a session work?

Being in front of a camera is scary at first for everybody. I’m personally SO awkward in photos and can understand your struggle. Because of that, I keep all of my sessions fun and full of movement to get rid of some of those awkward feelings! I’ll never tell you exactly how to stand, physically change the way you’re doing anything, etc. instead I use posing prompts and ques to have your genuine emotions and personality show through the photos!

Q: How many photos do I get? Are they all edited?

This varies from event to event but on average you’ll receive 50-100 fully edited images per hour of coverage!

Q: Can I order prints from you?

Yes! I love when I get to supply prints! You get a personalized print store with your gallery + all prints get delivered by yours truly!

Q: What if the weather is bad on my wedding day?

We can’t control the weather so I prefer to just embrace if for your big day! Wind, rain, clouds, or snow all have the potential to add personality to your photos! *within reason If it’s unsafe for you, me, or my gear, we’ll either 1. Find some cute umbrellas or 2. Find a cozy indoor spot somewhere!

I was that kid enchanted by Disney Princess movies and the idea of "true love". My true love revealed itself through photography. At 8, I grabbed my dad's camera and was hooked, thrilled to show people my world. I started with zoo animals, friends, and siblings, eager to freeze moments in time. As I grew, I learned from local photographers and knew by 17 that photography was my calling. Since then, I’ve captured love in all its forms: couples, new parents, best friends, and the joy of seeing your favorite band live. The world is full of magical firsts, and I'm honored to capture these moments forever.

Beautiful Wedding Portraits
We couldn't be happier with Kaitlyn! We wanted a photographer who could take amazing portraits but also do fun and nontraditional shots, and she absolutely killed it! We love how our photos turned out and how she captured so many genuine moments throughout the day. She was so easy to work with, and we can’t recommend her enough!

So grateful !
We're so grateful to have gotten to work with Kaitlyn for our wedding! Her prices were so affordable compared to the market in Chicago, and we were so impressed with her photography style shown in her portfolio and instagram. Her communication was so clear and responsive, which was such a relief especially considering we were planning this wedding from out of state. At our engagement shoot and at our wedding, Kaitlyn was such a joy to work with! We never felt posed or artificial, and we ended up with so many amazing photos while never feeling like we were pulled away from our wedding experience to take them. Before working with Kaitlyn, we both thought we weren't photogenic, but I've never felt more beautiful than I felt in these photos. On top of her photography skills, Kaitlyn is so fun to talk to during the shoot, and she also went above and beyond during our wedding day. My dress ended up being a bit too long and Kaitlyn immediately offered to get pins from her car and helped me pin up my dress 3 separate times so I could do my first dance without tripping over myself. We're so grateful to have worked with her at our wedding and would recommend her to anyone.

Best Day EVER!!!!!
There are not enough words I can use to praise Kaitlyn and her husband Jake for all of their hard work for our wedding. We just have our sneak peaks now and we are completely blown away with how gorgeous every single picture is. Kaitlyn's communication and customer service is TOP NOTCH! She really listened to us and made sure to capture all of the shots that we wanted from planned portraits to candids. She really knows her stuff and was just the best to work with the whole time from engagement photos to our wedding day. We will be lifetime customers for any pictures we need in the future. Best Photographers Out There!
Kaitlyn and her husband are just absolutely amazing. My husband and I are not the most used to being photographed, and they completely take the awkwardness out of it. In the moments where it was harder for us to be “candid”, they helped us by giving us prompt type things to follow and it helped so much! Kaitlyn and Jake are both so kind, down to earth, and talented, and were so helpful outside of photography needs throughout the day as well! Jake helped my husband and his groomsmen figure out how to work their cufflinks, and she helped myself, my mother, and my maid of honor button my dress. Kaitlyn did our engagement photos as well, and we already have another appointment booked! We’ll work with her forever if we can.

Excellent photographer
We had the absolute best experience working with Kaitlyn for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which made such a difference in how natural all of our photos turned out. She and her husband Jake, who was our second shooter, were an amazing team. They captured every moment so effortlessly and truly understood the vibe of each event — from the excitement of our engagement session, to the intimate feel of the rehearsal dinner, to the energy and emotion of our wedding day. What I appreciated most was how well she listened to what we wanted while also guiding us with her experience. She made sure to get the specific shots that were important to us, but also captured so many candid moments that we didn’t even realize were happening. Looking through the photos feels like reliving the entire weekend. If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, organized, calm, and genuinely fun to work with, I cannot recommend her enough. We are so grateful to have these memories captured so beautifully.
