I started taking photos when I was in high school, but did not pursue this passion of mine until 2019. When I first started, I did not think I would ever shoot weddings. However, I started second shooting for my wedding photographer and fell in love with it. There's something about capturing those special moments of two lovebirds and seeing the pure joy and love they have for each other. I love love and enjoy playing a part in preserving love in a way that people can look back on for a lifetime. God creates the most beautiful stories and it's an honor to capture His beautiful creation.

One of the most common themes I hear from previous couples, and even their families, is the "breathe of fresh air" I bring to the day, as well as the calming presence, genuineness, kindness, and professionalism I have. I love to laugh, I can be weird, I love to have fun. Your wedding day is about you and all that you want it to be and it's my goal to make sure that reigns true all throughout the day. You need a tissue? I have one in my pocket. You forgot your hanger for your dress? There's one in my bag. You are not just another client to me, you are so much more than that.

    The sweetest photographer!!

    We love Melissa so much!! We had her do our Christmas cards last year to build the relationship and we’ve been so happy ever since, I can’t wait to use her for many years to come! She’s so calm and patient, not to mention her incredible photos! I was so anxious on the day of the wedding and her calm positive presence brought me right back where I needed to be!

    Best Photographer Experience!!

    Having Melissa as our wedding photographer was honestly one of the best choices we made for our day. She was always quick to answer questions, super organized, and brought such a calming, creative energy to everything. I loved how naturally she captured our day. She made the family photo time feel so easy and relaxed (I have a very large family so this was invaluable!). I even had two people from our bridal party tell me how much they enjoyed working with her.     Wedding Photographer

    Melissa is truly the sweetest person to work with! She took our photos back when we were in college, so having her capture our wedding felt like such a full-circle moment. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day, and she somehow managed to capture every emotion and special moment so perfectly. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my trusted associate shooters! I can also provide you with a list of photographers should you prefer to find someone else.
For weddings, you will receive sneak peaks within 24-48 hours. Your final gallery will be delivered within 4-7 weeks after your wedding.
Yes! I always shoot with dual slots, meaning I shoot on two SD cards so there is always a backup! Once I get home, I save those images to a hard drive so they are triple backed up. Don't worry, we got you covered.
Typically, couples book at least 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame! I am currently still taking on a few more 2025 weddings and books are open for 2026 and 2027!
