    Don’t Recommend - Poor Editing & Communication

    I had my pictures taken on June 29, 2026. On July 13, Mia let me know that she was feeling better, back to work, and catching up on sessions. She told me she would have my photos to me by the end of that week and would keep me updated. I responded that I was glad she was feeling better and that if she needed additional time, that was completely okay I just wanted communication. After not hearing anything, I reached out again on July 26. I didn't receive a response until July 31, when I was told the photos would be sent that day. I received them on August 1. I appreciated that she included more photos than she was obligated to provide. However, I was disappointed with the editing. The photos appeared to have received very little editing or attention to detail and, in some cases, felt more like raw images. There were trash cans and cars visible in the backgrounds, and the stole I was sitting on (which we had specifically discussed removing because it did not make sense in the photos) was still present. It was also around 95 degrees the day of my session, so naturally I was sweating. Mia had reassured me that this would be edited, but I was still noticeably shiny in the final photos. Most importantly, I had specifically requested that my 2026 tassel be shown hanging from my boot and facing the camera so that "2026" would be clearly readable. This was something we discussed beforehand because it was an important detail that made the photos feel like senior/graduation pictures. Unfortunately, the tassel was not readable in the photos I received. I reached out politely and asked if these things could be corrected, and Mia told me she would edit them. On August 11, I followed up again because I wanted to be able to post my graduation photos while they were still timely. I never received a response. At that point, I ended up spending several hours editing the photos myself using Photoshop because I wanted to be able to use them. As of August 18, I still have not received the requested edits or an update. My biggest issue throughout this experience was honestly the lack of communication. If she needed additional time for any reason, I would have completely understood if she had simply communicated, "I need until X date to get these back to you." I was very patient and understanding about the initial delay, but almost two months for approximately 15 final photos, followed by additional delays and no communication regarding the requested edits, was frustrating. I also don't feel that I should have had to specifically request basic editing details such as removing distracting trash cans from the background or correcting obvious shine, especially for the price I paid. I understand that photographers have different editing styles, but I expected the images to be polished and ready to use. I really wanted to love these photos because they captured an important milestone for me, so l am genuinely bummed about the experience. UPDATE: Mia answered me after seeing my negative review and notified me she was unhappy with me leaving a review of her not responding and she would get the edits to me this weekend and that was on August 19th. Still haven’t gotten the edits it’s SEPTEMBER 3rd. Haven’t heard back she decided to not do them I’m assuming. And my review was removed so maybe she paid to remove my original post.

    Engagement Photoshop

    Mia Arredondo Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, Mia's communication was great - she answered all of our questions promptly and made us feel at ease. On the day of the photo shoot, Mia's presence helped us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, even though it was our first time doing a professional photo shoot as a couple. The final photos were incredible - Mia somehow brought our Pinterest board to life, and the pictures captured the love and romance even better than we could have imagined.     Talented and Unforgettable Photographer

    It was a pleasure working with Mia to achieve the perfect memorable newborn pictures of my baby. From communicating to planning and to the actual photo shoot it was all such an easy going experience. Mia paid attention to detail of what I wanted and she definitely exceeded my expectations! Her relaxed and professional personality makes us want to continue working with her!

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I always take last minute micro weddings and celebrations as well
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra. My partners are trusted to capture within my style while adding flair
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I offer content creation and highlight videos upon request!
