I truly want to capture the connection and love between two people. To document your special day, my mission is to capture you & your loved one the way you are. Whether you are having an intimate wedding in a backyard or an elopement across the world, I’m ready with my camera. All my focus is on you. No awkward poses and no forced smiles. It’s all about raw emotions, fun, and lasting memories.

English isn’t my mother tongue. As a queer, first-generation immigrant, I love photography because it transcends words and breaks barriers. It’s a universal language spoken through light and color, candid smiles and tears of joy. As your photographer, inclusivity is my priority. All stories deserve to be told. Such a pleasure to work with!
Nica Nuestro Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with! Nica and Kika listened carefully to what we wanted and asked thoughtful questions about our vision. They spent genuine time with us during our engagement shoot, making sure every moment felt natural and captured our story. They even let us include our dog! On our wedding day, they worked seamlessly together to catch all the details that mattered to us, going well beyond what we expected. Their photos are stunning and really show who we are as a couple. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

It was Great experience working with Nica
Nica is a very professional photographer. It is straightforward to work and plan with her. She tried to prepare before the event to get familiar with the venue. Also, she communicated her requests very well. She also was friendly with the bride and groom. They felt very comfortable with her, and as a result, the photos came out very naturally and happy. I strongly recommend Nica, and I will work with her in my future events.

100% happy with the photography experience.
Nica was our wedding photographer in Chicago. She was totally flexible with our requests. Most importantly, the pictures came out lovely and gorgeous! In the event, she was invisible, but at the same time, following us in the background, and captured lots of meaningful moments from perfect angles. Couldn't ask for a better photographer. We liked her so much that we booked another session in downtown with her.

In love with our photos!
My fiancé and I worked with Nica for engagement pictures in downtown Chicago and we are in LOVE with the results! She sends a detailed questionnaire before the shoot so that she has the right idea of the kinds of pictures you want. She had fun, unique ideas for photos and incorporated classic poses we knew we wanted. She was always quick to respond as well.
