The Aviary Collective

The Aviary Collective members have over half a century of combined experience in the wedding industry. Weddings are our passion, and we have teamed up to provide an elite level of experience to our couples. By offering a simpler way to book your vendors, we hope to streamline your wedding planning journey and set you up with a seamless group of professionals who work together all the time to bring dream weddings to life. From the beginning planning stages to helping pack up decor, our coordinators work tirelessly to pull off your event without a hitch- while our photographers and videographers faithfully capture the love for a lifetime. We put the same energy into your wedding day that we would into our own.

Full planning assistance, timeline construction, and additional photography session (i.e. sunrise portraits on the beach, welcome party coverage, immediate family session on location) exclusive to our destination packages (up to 90 minutes).

    Amazing!

    We were so lucky to have had Lucca as our photographer with The Aviary Collective. She had a great creative approach to our day, guided us through the process and made our day unforgettable. Lucca made the whole process easy and fun, we have said many times she was one of the best parts of our day. We received our photos much earlier than anticipated and have loved the results. She captured many great moments between the two of us, as well as many beautiful candids of our guests throughout the night. If you can book Lucca, please do! We are excited to have these photos to look at for years to come!

    Easy to work with

    We had a great experience working with The Aviary Collective for our wedding photos. From our first email to the final delivery of our album, they were quick to respond and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Their flexibility made it simple to plan shots and adjust our timeline, especially after having to reschedule the entire wedding, and they delivered stunning photos that captured all the moments we wanted to remember. We endeavor to pair you directly with your preference of our team members who match your vibe + vision for your day! On occasion, we bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size + scope of your wedding. Don’t worry, this will never cost you extra. Our packages of 8+hrs always include a second photographer to ensure we are able to document your big day faithfully + completely. In the event that our main team members are already booked for your date but you like our style, we have a select roster of other contractors whom we would trust to document our own weddings we can send in our place- then we edit and deliver to you!
Always. All images + films we deliver are hand-culled + edited for you by our team members. We will never trust AI to do something so important- AI doesn't know that your eyes were closed because you were laughing with the love of your life, it just thinks it's a "bad" photo. Minor retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening can be performed on small batches of images by request. Large-batch cosmetic edits such as removing items or people from photos, adding things to a photo, changing the inherent shape of anything, and other large-scale edits will be charged per photo and outsourced to a professional retouching expert.
We do! Let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we'll send it over.
Couples typically book with us around 13 months prior to their wedding date. We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about our availability, especially if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. Peak dates such as Saturdays from May-November book very quickly and as we work with a team, we want to ensure we can pair you with the best match for your vibe + vision from our line-up of seasoned, trusted team members.
In the very rare event that your original team member(s) are unable to photograph your wedding, we make sure you’re covered by one of our colleagues- only someone we would trust to document our own once-in-a-lifetime moments. The benefit of working with us at The Aviary Collective is that we have all been in the industry for a long time. We have an extensive network of incredible professionals and keep a list of emergency contacts we can reach out to should the need arise.
We try to provide sneak peek galleries within a week of your wedding- we are just as excited as you are for you to see what we captured! And for you to have professional images to share on socials, of course! Your contract provides an expected delivery date of 12 weeks from your wedding, but many couples receive their galleries earlier. We want you to feel like our only clients, but we are a busy team with busy lives and each gallery's delivery date depends on many factors such as our overall workload, being human, having to sleep + clean + take our kids to soccer practice. We appreciate your patience + promise our work is worth the wait!
You can expect between 50 to 80 images in your final gallery per hour of photography coverage. But please keep in mind that this estimate varies depending on number of photographers, number of guests and wedding party members, and other factors. We deliver all usable images from your day and only cull duplicates or duds- we don't want you to miss a thing!
