While continuing to work in the television & movie industry for several decades, I ventured into photography. My career focused on the moving image but my heart sought the individual moments, the individual frames. The perspectives were the same; to better understand how light and shadows help tell a story and define a moment. This is now a pursuit to help you document your priceless moments & story.

Being over 50, I now have a larger sample size to life. I see the patterns, the ups and downs, and the need to seek out moments that matter. Much of our lives is filled with the ordinary; getting gas, dentist appts., grocery shopping, etc. But a WEDDING is and should be OUT OF THE ORDINARY. I see the importance and impact of a wedding day. You are both saying out load to the world that you love each other and are making a public commitment. THAT is worth capturing and that is why I do this work.

    Larry is the absolute best and biggest sweetheart

    Larry was the absolute best photographer we could have asked for! He is warm, easy to work with, funny, earnest, and accomodating; which made the experience easy from start to finish. In addition he is a true professional; scoping out the venue and making adjustments to his equipment based on the sun and time of our rooftop ceremony. His communication was prompt and thorough, he truly wanted to hear our vision and worked to make it happy, fun, and spontaneous. By the end, I truly got the sense that he just loves LOVE and wants to make your special day extra meaningful. During the wedding, Larry blended into our celebration with ease. He made guests feel comfortable while staying alert for every meaningful moment. He worked closely with our vendors and us to capture those secret/surprise moments we wanted preserved, always hunting for the next shot and ready to sprint toward an opportunity. Larry was extremely timely with our sneak peeks and final photographs, he supplied them on his website where we can download high resolution copies. And, they came out AMAZING. We wanted photos that felt natural and spontaneous, and it came out exactly the way we hoped. Larry - thank you so much, it was so wonderful to have someone who cared so much about making our day extra special!!

    Everything you are looking for and more

    Really the best we could have hoped for and helped to make our wedding feel magical in the moment and captured things beautifully when we received the pictures. Very highly recommended.

    Everything We Could’ve Asked For

    Larry went above & beyond to capture the best day of our lives. Besides being timely and professional, he was so kind. He put us at ease and kept the process of taking pictures fun, even when my dress became uncomfortable later in the day. Our wedding guests loved Larry and he got such beautiful candid shots of them. I look at his pictures and I still get a little teary!

    Great photographer!

    I got in touch with Larry about doing an engagement shoot. This involved him being hidden in plain sight as a pedestrian during the actual engagement to get candids, and then a dedicated photo shoot afterward. Larry was really fun to work with and we love the photos! Would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to anyone.

    10/10, would recommend!

    I cannot say enough great things about Larry. For somebody who has not been to New York in years, it was a bit daunting to think about how I was going to pull off a secret proposal with no connections or resources in the city. By sheer luck, I stumbled across Larry Shore, checked out his work, looked at his reviews, and felt very confident he was the right guy for the job. I reached out and he was able to fit me on his books for a Saturday engagement. He immediately reached out to coordinate logistics. By the time it was said and done, he had diagrams laid out of where we needed to go, a designated time window, and even a backup plan should weather not cooperate. Fast forward to the day of the proposal and Larry ensured I was ready to go, had an umbrella on standby, fun props to utilize, and even texted me on the day of to let me know what he’d be wearing so I could easily recognize him. The execution was flawless and my fiancé loved every minute of it. After getting the candid shots, Larry took the time to introduce himself formally, then jumped straight into action to ensure we had the best professional photos possible of our engagement day. Can’t thank Larry Shore enough for all he did to make the day unforgettable.

    Wow!, I am so grateful to have given you and Carrye a memorable experience thru Central Park. To say this review got me choked up, would be an understatement.

Being freelance, my availability does change so the sooner we can connect, the sooner we can secure your precious date.
I recommend two photographers if it is within the budget. The 2nd photographer will be able to capture additional angles, expression, and moments to compliment my focus on you, the bride & groom.
Sneak Peek Shots are sent to you, the couple, within 24 hours me arriving back home. It will consist of a handful of selects. Full Gallery Delivery is dependent on your wedding particulars but generally, I delivery the full gallery within 30 days of your wedding. If a print book isn requested, delivery can be up to 60 days after your wedding.
I have back-up photographers should I be unable to commit to you date after deposit was received.
All photographs will be delivered and edited by me per our contract agreement.
