Hey there I'm Bobby! I'm the photographer behind VTN Photo. I'm a Minneapolis based wedding photographer with a documentary eye and an editorial approach. I catch what's real as it happens, then edit and curate with a thoughtful approach. When I'm not shooting weddings, I'm always looking for new music to add to my way too long house playlist, trying to unsuccessfully keep my waist line in check in the gym, or find the next new restaurant or cocktail bar I can try out when traveling. From beginning to end I want you to feel like you're with a friend who happens to be good with a camera, instead of a stranger who just shows up for photos.

For me, getting to know you is important. I want to hear about your hopes, your concerns, hobbies, and everything in between. I operate this way because real moments only happen when you feel comfortable and confident in who I am, the work that I provide, and the connection we build. This is also why inclusion isn't an afterthought for me. I'm proud to work with LGBTQ+ couples, couples of color, and anyone who's ever had to wonder whether their photographer would make them feel welcome. With me, making everyone comfortable is the whole point of how I work. However you show up, whoever you love, you belong here.

You can truly cares about the art and craft and what he’s doing, and that translates into the photos you receive. Such a kind and caring individual who pays attention to detail and helps create a fun and comfortable environment. Lots of achievable styles, too

Wedding packages start at $600 for elopements, $1,000 for half-day coverage, and $1,500 for full-day coverage. Engagement sessions are available as a $200 add-on to any package. Every package includes a pre-shoot consultation, a private online gallery, and full print rights. Full pricing is listed above on this page.
Depending on coverage, wedding galleries include 150 to 500+ fully edited images, delivered in a private online gallery within 6 to 10 weeks.
It starts with a message and a phone call to make sure we fit. From there I send a straightforward contract you sign electronically, and a 50% deposit holds your date. That's it. The full process is laid out on my "My Process" page at vtnphoto.com
For weddings, most couples reach out 6 to 12 months ahead as summer and fall dates go first. That said, don't rule yourself out if your date is closer. Ask. If I'm open, I'm open.
Comfortable, that's the whole design. By the time your day arrives, I want it to feel less like a vendor showing up and more like a friend who happens to be really good at this. I plan obsessively beforehand so that on the day, I can be fully present and the real moments can happen on their own.
Yes. I'm based in Minneapolis and shoot throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, and I'm always open to travel beyond that. If your date is outside the metro, reach out and we'll figure out the details together. Distance has never stopped a good shoot.
For weddings 30 minutes or more outside of the Twin Cities, I charge mileage at the current IRS standard mileage rate. For destination weddings further out, my package pricing and services stay exactly the same, the only addition is travel expenses (flights, lodging, and local transportation), billed at cost, no markup.
