I’m Mary, California film wedding photographer. I fell in love with documenting weddings in 2018 and have a deep appreciation for the privilege of capturing one of the most profound moments in peoples’ lives. I'm here to witness your day with love and artistry, and preserve your memories in a way that’s honest, emotive, and true to you.

I approach each wedding with the eyes of an artist and the heart of a storyteller. Moments and details are thoughtfully captured using light, texture, color, and form. Every image is treated as a meaningful thread in the tapestry of your memory. Through an observational approach and gentle guidance when appropriate, we’ll capture your day as it organically unfolds, turning your experiences into visual keepsakes that feel both true to you and beautifully composed. All weddings are captured on a mix of digital, 35mm, and 120 film.

GREAT digital/film photographer with amazing vibe
We cannot recommend Mary enough! Before the ceremony, we had a couple changes with our venue space that made us disappointed because we were worried we couldn't get some of the photos we wanted. Mary came up with some great ideas/alternatives to ensure our dream photos still happened and was caring and attentive to our concerns. She came to my house (the bride's house) for getting ready photos, and was such a calming and friendly presence as I was nervously preparing for the event. She completely matched the vibe of the whole day, and totally respected the requirements of our religious ceremony. We have been to some weddings where the photographer is aggressively taking photos during key moments and can distract from what's happening, but she listened to our preferences to take a more documentary/low key approach and completely followed our vision for the day. And, even so, the photos she took turned out absolutely beautiful and really capture the day! We are 1000% happy with our decision to hire her and recommend her to anyone!

10/10 Wedding Photographer!
Mary is an amazing photographer. Highly recommend booking her for your wedding or any other photography needs! She did photos of my spouse and I for our engagement photos and also for our wedding in June 2026. She spent so much time before both events to ask us about our preferences and (because we needed a lot of guidance) gave us a lot of advice both before the shoots and during. She has a really impressive way of capturing candid shots that still look beautiful and professional but also capture the personality of the person being photographed. She is so good at making everyone being photographed feel comfortable and was so attentive to our preferences with poses, lighting, background, etc. My only complaint is that it will be hard to choose which photos for our wedding to hang in our house because they are truly all amazing! If I were starting all over, I would book her again in a heartbeat!

The ABSOLUTE BEST!
It’s been a couple of months since our wedding, and we still beam every time we look at the photos Mary took. Her attention to detail, marriage of her ow artistry with our vision, and her calming & kind energy the day of the wedding was more than we could’ve asked for. We are SO grateful we got to work with Mary and would highly recommend her to anyone that’s looking to create a beautiful, unique memorabilia they and their loved ones will beam over time and time again.

Captured our essence perfectly!
Mary was so incredible to work with! We worked with Mary for our engagement photos and wedding day. Mary got to know my husband and I and captured photos that really felt like us. Neither of us naturally love being in front of the camera and Mary worked to bring us out of our shell. We couldn’t be happier with the way our engagement photos turned out and wedding sneak peaks!

A Photographer Every Planner Loves to Work With!
