Alicia Margaret Events is a full-service wedding and event planning company based in Northern New Jersey, serving clients throughout NYC, NJ, the Hudson Valley, and Philadelphia. Our goal is to bring joy to the experience of creating an event that is uniquely yours. We offer full-service planning and wedding and event management packages (commonly known as "day-of coordination"). All of our packages are customized to our client's needs based on the details of their event.

It's important for me to establish a personalized planning process that gives my clients the best experience (and makes planning a joy versus a chore). My approach to planning is doing everything in my power to take the stress off your shoulders and ensure a seamless, organized, and creative experience to give you the peace of mind you desire. Couple that with a true appreciation for love, connections, and intentional moments, and you’ve found a planner who cares just as much about your event as you do.

Best Decision
Although it has been a year since our wedding, the joy of the day feels as fresh as on our actual wedding day. Everything was just as we imagined and hoped for, and Alicia was a big part of that. Initially, when I started thinking about planning our wedding, I thought I would do it myself; I didn’t see the reason to have a wedding planner. However, after a short time I realized it would be great to have some help and decided to hire a day of wedding planner. After interviewing a number of candidates, I decided to hire Alicia for a number of reasons: during our interview, she quickly focused on the areas I was looking for help, she understood the atmosphere I wanted for the reception; she was easy to communicate with and I felt she really “got us”. Over the time we worked together, she was flexible and made potential high pressure situations easy to deal with. She was always available and was ready to jump in when she could tell we had a problem or one was looming. The day of the wedding she was a pleasant and efficient person who coordinated the whole day and ensured that the day ran smoothly. I highly recommend Alicia as a wedding planner and think every bride she helps will enjoy working with her.

Alicia was able to plan my dream wedding
I'm so glad I met Alicia and was able to hire her as our wedding planner with less than 3 months to our wedding. Alicia is a kind, professional, organized and insightful person and she was the best wedding planner I could ever imagine. She created a plan of action for us to start working on right away and working with her was was a pleasure as she is very responsive and kept us on tract with deadlines. She was thorough and efficient in managing the vendors, reviewing contracts, liaising with the venue, attending vendor meetings, and providing excellent expertise on design and all things weddings. The day of the wedding everything was exactly as I envisioned it. Wedding planning is stressful, but I was so happy and calm our wedding day because she and her assistant Helen went above and beyond to make sure everything when smoothly. Because of Alicia, my husband and I were relaxed and had a fun and amazing time at our wedding! Hiring Alicia was the best decision we made and I would highly recommend her.
