From intimate weddings to milestone celebrations and special gatherings, I help bring each event to life with intention, organization, and a personal touch. My goal is to create an experience where you can be present and enjoy the people and moments that matter most.

I intentionally specialize in intimate weddings and events because smaller celebrations deserve just as much care, planning, and attention to detail. My approach is personal and hands-on—I take the time to understand what matters to you, anticipate needs, solve problems behind the scenes, and stay calm when plans shift.     Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Coordinator

    Hiring MJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She took care of every detail, kept everything running smoothly, and made the entire day feel effortless for us. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care showed in everything she did. We were able to fully enjoy our day knowing she was handling everything behind the scenes, even staying later to make sure everything was taken care of after we left.     Look No Further!

    WOW, WOW, WOW! We cannot recommend MJ from BetterTogetherHTX and her assistant enough as our wedding coordinator. She truly made our entire day absolutely perfect! Every detail was flawlessly executed! Our timeline was followed to a tee, and everything flowed seamlessly. She made sure all vendor communications were filtered through her so we can be fully unplugged. MJ came prepared for *anything* with her magical fanny pack (seriously, it gave Dora the Explorer’s backpack LOL). Before I could even mention needing something, she already had it in hand. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about her throughout the night, and we completely agree! “Thank you” will never feel like enough. MJ went above and beyond to orchestrate the most incredible, stress-free wedding day we could have ever imagined. If you’re considering a coordinator, look no further. She is simply the best!!!

Honestly — it depends. For larger, full-service events, BetterTogether HTX is fully committed to one client at a time. For smaller or à la carte bookings, we may occasionally accommodate more than one event in a weekend when the scope allows. Either way, our standard never changes — every client gets our best, every single time.
Yes! We understand that weddings are a significant investment. We require a deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance split into manageable installments. Payment plan details are outlined in your contract and tailored to your timeline.
We work with a wide range of budgets and will always be transparent about what's realistic for your investment. Our à la carte and virtual consulting options are great starting points for couples who need support but are working within tighter budgets.
We understand that life is unpredictable. Our contract outlines our rescheduling and cancellation policy in detail. Deposits are non-refundable, but we will always work with you as much as possible if circumstances change.
Absolutely! While we're proudly Houston-based, we coordinate events throughout Texas and beyond. Destination weddings and out-of-town events may include a travel fee — details are discussed during your consultation.
We recommend booking as early as possible — especially for peak wedding season (April–June and September–November). Full Service and Partial Planning clients typically book 12–18 months out, while Day-of and Month-of Coordination can book 3–6 months in advance. That said, we love a challenge — reach out even if your date is sooner than that!
