Disappointing Experience — Would Not Recommend
Unfortunately, our experience with D’Exquisite Events did not meet our expectations, and I would not recommend their services based on our experience. We hired Abby to coordinate our vow renewal, an important milestone we wanted to enjoy without worrying about the details. Unfortunately, several things went wrong on the day of our event. The biggest disappointment was our three-tier cake, valued at approximately 700, which was never cut or served and ultimately went to waste. Abby attended our final meeting and knew we had two cakes with different flavors. The three-tier cake was intended to be cut and served during the celebration. At the end of the evening, when my husband approached the venue coordinator about the cake, the coordinator explained what Abby had communicated regarding not cutting it. I addressed the situation at the time, but Abby did not speak up to clarify or explain her position. When I later raised my concerns, Abby denied making that decision and placed responsibility on the venue. The conflicting accounts and lack of accountability were extremely disappointing. The cake was not our only concern. The photographer did not appear to have received a proper walkthrough of the venue beforehand, leaving us and our families walking from floor to floor to find suitable photo locations. I even had to do this in my wedding dress. Children were running back and forth during the toast, the event timeline was not consistently followed, and the DJ had to approach me multiple times with questions about timing. The goodie bags were placed out before the ceremony instead of alongside the cake as intended. The DJ request cards remained unopened, and the guest book had very few signatures. We hired a coordinator so we could enjoy our special day, not manage the details ourselves. Instead, we found ourselves worrying about things we expected to be handled as part of the service we paid for. Equally disappointing was that no meaningful resolution or compensation was offered after we expressed our concerns. Abby referenced complimentary products and services in her response, but that does not address the problems we experienced or the 700 cake that went to waste. I do not feel the service we received matched the price we paid. This is not about expecting a perfect event. It is about communication, following the client's wishes, attention to detail, and accountability when things go wrong. Our vow renewal was an important milestone, and it is unfortunate that these issues affected our experience. Based on our experience, I would not use D’Exquisite Events again or recommend them to other couples.

Highly Recommend D'Exquisite Events
I had the pleasure of working with Abby of D'Exquisite Events as the photographer for a wedding, and she was fantastic! Her timeline was perfect, and the day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. She was organized, communicative, and always one step ahead, which made it easy for me to capture every important moment without feeling rushed. Abby is professional, warm, and clearly cares about her couples. I would highly recommend D'Exquisite Events to anyone looking for a planner who makes the day run beautifully. I can't wait to work with her again!

Made our day
Abby from D'Exquisite Events was a game-changer for our wedding day. She checked in with us every week to understand what we wanted and kept us updated on decorations and vendor coordination. My husband and I were able to relax the entire day because Abby handled everything—from making sure vendors showed up on time to lining up the wedding party for the aisle. The decor was stunning and reflected exactly what we had envisioned. She delivered on every detail and took so much stress off our shoulders. We couldn't have asked for a better planner.

My husband and I worked with Abby and her team for day-of coordination services for our August 2026 wedding. From our initial contact, Abby felt like the right choice. Her communication from the beginning was consistent. Starting about 3 months out, we had bi-weekly meetings to discuss progress and checklists and the final month, we had weekly meetings and she worked with the other vendors to ensure a flawless timeline. Where Abby and her team really shined was during our rehearsal and morning of. They brought the energy, ensured the decor was perfect, and kept the timeline moving. I can’t say enough good things about them and their support from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone!
