AMAZING experience!
I cannot truly express how incredible Caroline was throughout our entire wedding planning and day-of process. Caroline helped to guide us for over a year leading up to our wedding and provided clear resources, recommendations, and organizational tools to keep us on track. As we were not from the Frederick area where our wedding was taking place, her insight into nearby vendors was crucial (and they were all awesome!). In situations where we did not choose the vendors mentioned by her, she sat in on all discussions and asked questions when needed to assist with decision making. She did not just help with the planning, but also the designing piece which was completely unexpected but beyond amazing when it came to putting together a color palette and decor (some of which she helped to make herself! She was cognizant of our budget and always found ways to make things beautiful without spending an astronomical amount of money. And most importantly, our actual wedding day was as perfect and smoothly run as we could have possibly asked. Based on our experience, Caroline is worth a minimum of double the amount that she charges. Cannot thank her enough and will forever be recommending her to anyone needing a knowledgable, kind, and reliable wedding planner.

We had a fantastic experience working with Caroline at Protea Event Planners! She helped us stay on budget, gave us great vendor recommendations, and made the entire planning process so much easier. Caroline was organized, dependable, and always brought a great sense of humor that made her genuinely fun to work with. On our wedding day, Caroline made sure every special request and little detail we had discussed actually happened. No detail was too small, and it was such a relief knowing she had everything covered behind the scenes. She truly went above and beyond, even handling one of the day’s most critical emergencies: tracking down a Red Bull for the groom during the reception. Having Caroline there allowed us to relax, enjoy ourselves, and be fully present on our wedding day. We’re so grateful for everything she did and would absolutely recommend Caroline and Protea Event Planners!

Couldn't have done it without them!
Caroline was absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning process. She was able to answer all of questions prior to our wedding weekend in a clear, concise, and timely manner. She was able to herd us and the wedding party throughout the day to keep us to our timeline so we could ensure we could do all of the personal touches that we wanted. My husband and I mean it when we say she was the best financial decision of the wedding and we do not know how we could have gotten through the day without her.

Caroline was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. I felt so much peace of mind and the day ran so smoothly because of her and Lucy. During the planning process, I loved how Caroline took initiative to reach out to vendors to set up meetings and make sure everyone was on the same page. I felt great in the weeks leading up to the wedding just knowing that everything was covered, nothing was going to be forgotten, and Caroline would perfectly carry out my vision for the day. She was very knowledgeable and experienced which made us feel so at ease during planning. On our wedding day, Caroline worked tirelessly to make sure the venue was set up perfectly, that everything ran on time, and that we had time and space to enjoy the day and each other. She made executive day-of decisions that made the decor set up even better than I had planned or imagined. All needs were met before we even asked. Many of our guests commented on how great Caroline and Lucy were at making sure everything ran smoothly. We were initially on the fence about getting a planner/coordinator, but we are so so so glad we did. 100% worth it.

Wedding Fairy Godmother!!
Caroline is the perfect wedding coordinator! She is organized, sweet, responsive, and knowledgeable. The week leading up to the wedding and the day-of can be so fast paced and filled with anticipation and anxiety for brides, and Caroline was my rock. She was always available to answer questions and walk through our timeline over and over until it had the flow we wanted. On the day of, she was a calming presence who guided me around without me needing to turn my brain on and remember where to be at what time. She even helped my fiance plan a surprise send-off at the end of the night. I wish I could get married again to work with her again! If you want a stress-free and perfectly executed day, hire Caroline! Literally a wedding fairy godmother!
