Horrible Service for Wedding

I am greatly disappointed in the services of Heather Farr Events. At my August wedding, I did so much work. The photographer and videographer were constantly asking me questions, and I had to keep everything on track - this was not my responsibility. It was the responsibility of the planner, who failed to manage the timeline, and at one point, my husband couldn't find her to assist with opening the door to our bridal suite so I could change before my first dance.

We hired Heather as the planner for our wedding and our experience working with her was phenomenal! She took the time to get to know us personally and understand our vision and budget, and literally everything from there was such a breeze. She made the venue/vendor search so easy, ensured we were thinking of every detail without making it overwhelming, coordinated with all of our vendors, and ensured the day of logistics were seamless. We couldn't imagine planning our wedding without her. We did not lift a finger or have a single stressful thought day of. Her experience and connections are invaluable. We had the perfect day and it's largely because of Heather and team! We highly recommend!

As a mother of the bride I would highly recommend Heather Farr Events for your wedding. Not only was Heather amazing for the bride and groom, but the real bonus is that she took away the work that so many of the parents end up doing during and at the end of the wedding reception. Both sets of parents decided hiring HFE was one of the best decisions we made. During the early months Heather helped us develop a plan of action and a wedding day timeline. She provided vendor suggestions (who were absolutely amazing) and coordinated hotel accommodations. While we wanted to do some of the planning ourselves, Heather was always quick to answer questions or give suggestions as needed. She is so delightful and did everything she could to make this a great process for the bride and groom. We met with Heather a few times in person and she is so fun. During the last few weeks before the wedding she also confirmed all of our vendors, timelines, etc for us. Heather facilitated the wedding rehearsal and made sure everyone understood that on the wedding day all questions/concerns should be directed to her so that the bride and groom could enjoy their day. The wedding day was PERFECT! Heather is truly the best and she made sure the whole day ran smoothly. The bride and groom were smiling the entire day! The parents of the bride and groom were also smiling all day because guess what? WE were able to enjoy the day and evening too. Heather and her team took care of, and packed up, EVERYTHING leaving us to enjoy the day with our children and guests. I would not hesitate to hire Heather and team again. In fact, we already have for our next daughter's wedding in the fall. Thanks, HFE! Can't wait.

We loved working with Heather and her team during our recent wedding in December. Heather was the first vendor we hired after booking our ceremony and reception locations, and she helped us throughout the entire planning process. Her industry knowledge and relationships with other vendors in Milwaukee were invaluable when determining who to work with. We gave her our vision and from there, she was able to make recommendations based on our priorities that took the stress out of the planning process. It’s easy to have decision fatigue when wedding planning, but Heather made it so we could enjoy the process. I also appreciate how organized and detail oriented Heather and her team were. She kept us on track and helped us manage budget, timelines and vendor communications. This was especially helpful in the month leading up to our wedding. The benefit of bringing Heather in early for full planning is that she knew our vision and the details of our day upfront so she could communicate that to all of our partners, including final confirmations and timelines. They also managed all of the set up and tear down at both our ceremony and reception locations. Because our wedding took place at two different venues, we knew we needed someone we could trust to make sure everything was set up correctly, transferred and given to the appropriate person at the end of the night. Taking this off of our plate allowed us to be in the moment and enjoy our wedding day. We knew Heather would advocate for us and she did just that. I’d recommend Heather and her team for anyone who’s looking for an industry expert who’s professional, communicative and fun to be with!

We used Heather & her team for month-of coordination of our wedding and they helped everything run so smoothly. Heather (& Eboni) went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed leading up to our big day. I truly felt like I could relax & enjoy our wedding day knowing that they had everything covered. Everyone was kind & professional; highly recommend.
