Hi! I'm Tavi (pronounced Teh-Vee). Hun Events is a boutique wedding planning & event design company with a focus on the sweet details of intimate gatherings. I specialize in weddings that range from 30-100 guests, but also work with larger events and am always open to unique venues and experiences! I plan weddings in Los Angeles, Central Coast, and Orange/Ventura/San Diego Counties.

I care about my clients and I care about design! My favorite style is vibrant, colorful, and cheeky and I love meeting couples who also truly love to focus on their event aesthetics and personalized details! I will always listen to my couples' love stories with an ear to the ground about what is sentimental to them so that we can incorporate thoughtful details throughout their wedding day to honor those traditions. My couples will get priority attention from me and will feel taken care of whenever they have questions or concerns. I'm the sole planner of my business and my #1 goal is to ensure that you feel taken care of and collaborated with.

Full Service Planning can include venue search, and guarantees vendor outreach and booking help, budget tracking, full design services, RSVP and website tracking, and more! It covers all the nuts and bolts of the planning process, beginning when we first sign a contract together!

Wedding Management begins 60 days out from your wedding date and covers all vendor communication about final details and logistics after you have hired all of your vendors. It also includes access to an exclusive Wedding Planning software that is customized to your needs throughout your own planning journey!

    Best Coordinator!!

    We had the best experience with Tavi and Hun Events! The coordination process leading up to our wedding was seamless, organized and fun! We chose the partial planning option so about 3 months before the wedding Tavi took over all communication with vendors which relieved a lot of stress leading up to the big day. On the day of the event Hun Events went above and beyond to make sure everything looked beautiful and exactly how we had talked about leading up to the wedding. I’m so happy we went with Hun Events and I would highly recommend!

    Tavi is the best!

    Tavi was incredible to work with. We felt an instant connection with her during our first call, and we couldn't have made a better choice than choosing her to organize our wedding. She truly listened to and understood what we were looking for and knew how to make it a reality. Since we live abroad, we planned everything via email and conference calls, and it all went smoothly. Tavi is quick to reply and gives the best advice, which was very helpful given how overwhelming wedding decisions can become. Thanks to Tavi, we had a stress-free day and were able to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. She had everything under control and made us feel like a priority. We cannot recommend her enough as a wedding planner. We worked with her for over a year, and now that everything is over, we'll miss her!

    DREAM wedding planner!!

    I could not be happier with Tavi & Hun Events as my wedding planner! I don’t even have the words for how impressed we were (and still are) with the work she put into our wedding but I’m going to try! She had a big challenge ahead of her with planning the first full-scale wedding at an unconventional venue (the movie theater/video store Vidiots) and she not only took on the challenge, we could tell that she was excited to do so. She was enthusiastic & excited for our wedding, and came to us with really helpful advice and ideas and that really makes a world of difference! Tavi has a lot of great vendor partners, many of which we ended up using, and she was great at handling communication & details with any new vendors she hadn’t worked with before. Honestly, if there were any challenges or bumps along the way, we had no clue, and that’s exactly what a good wedding and event planner should do - make the event go seamlessly and stress-free for the couple. A month later and we’re STILL getting compliments from our friends & family about how special and fun our wedding was, and we owe so much of that to Tavi and her impeccable organization and planning. The day itself went off without a hitch! I’ve been telling everyone that hiring Tavi was the best money we spent on the wedding, and that’s absolutely true. She really cares about making your day special and making sure you aren’t dealing with the stress and confusion of contracts, juggling communication with different vendors, and getting every last detail right. If you’re getting married, do yourself a favor and HIRE TAVI!

    Stress Evaporated

    We booked Hun Events' Wedding Management package, so we were ready at the 60-day mark for Tavi to take charge -- and we were not disappointed. After months and months of dealing with individual vendors and stressing over details, we were suddenly free to focus on ourselves and our own experience for the big day. All we had to do was pass along a few email addresses, and Tavi took care of the rest. I can't even describe the feeling of relief in being able to confidently entrust the toughest parts of our wedding planning to a seasoned pro like Tavi. And by the time the wedding weekend arrived, it was truly the greatest 48 hours of our lives. Tavi's steady hand at the helm was perhaps the biggest part of that. But not only were we relieved by the 60-day mark and beyond pleased with the wedding itself, Tavi was also ready and available well outside that date to help us with our myriad questions and to provide invaluable advice, professional guidance, and a vast network while we were wading into the world of vendors and ceremony and reception details. Planning a wedding was the biggest social undertaking we'd ever assayed, but with Tavi's tips and suggestions, it felt so much more manageable. Not to mention that Tavi's a lovely, genial person to work with overall. We truly can't say enough in favor of Hun Events and Tavi! Worth it a hundred times over!

    Hire Tavi!

    Tavi was an exceptional wedding planning partner for our special day. Tavi’s communication style was timely, warm, productive and always clear, which was exactly what we needed to stay on track. The quality of their work and value was outstanding - they paid meticulous attention to detail while staying within the expectations of what we hired her for, and leveraged her deep experience in wedding planning to help inform our decisions. She never over-promised, and expertly handled all vendor communication on our behalf to make our lives easier. I fell in love with wedding planning when I planned (and then re-planned!) my own. I loved going through the details, customizing things that felt personal to me and my fiancé, and it used a lot of the same skillsets I was used to from my career in television. I began assisting established wedding planners in the Summer of 2021 and ventured off into my own company in January 2022.
Of course! I am happy to help plan any other wedding related events leading up to, or following, your big day. I customize my proposals to the couples' needs, guest count, and number of events so I will include the pricing of additional event planning into my initial proposal.
Definitely! I have experience in planning, and working on, private residence weddings and I'd be happy to help! However, I don't offer Wedding Management/Coordination services for weddings at home. The time and effort put into planning a logistically-intricate event like this requires Full Planning Services.
