Hi! I'm Laura. When you work with me, you can expect a seamless experience from our first conversation through your last dance. I spent years working in the arts, performing, directing, and managing large-scale productions. After planning my own wedding in 2023, I found myself drawn to this work, and I've spent the time since working closely with Ness McGovern Events, following that passion to help couples bring their own wedding day to life.

I specialize in finding creative ways to make sure your vision is brought to life while making sure your guests have a top-tier experience.

If you choose full planning with me, you'll get full budget creation, venue sourcing, contract review and negotiation for every vendor, full design and styling direction, unlimited email support plus an optional weekly check-in call, attendance at all vendor meetings, coordination of pre- and post-wedding events, guest logistics support, detailed wedding-day timeline, full day-of coverage and coordination.

If you choose day-of/month-of coordination with me, you'll get an initial planning call to review everything booked so far, a review of all vendor contracts to confirm details and arrival times, a detailed wedding-day timeline, me as the main point of contact for all vendors starting 2 weeks out, one venue walkthrough/rehearsal, full day-of coverage and coordination, breakdown and pack-up oversight at the end of the night.

    The Wedding of Our Dreams Thanks to Laura Jean!

    Laura Jean is one of the most kind, organized, and considerate people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She stepped in at the last minute a month-out from our wedding after we decided to fire our original planner. I am so glad I trusted my instincts! From our initial meeting, I felt in such caring and capable hands with Laura, and that she was committed to and excited to share in the joy of our wedding with us! Her presence made our planning process and celebration as stress-free as possible, stepping in to take the lead on our vendor communication from the get-go and always cheerfully offering and finding ways to take on tasks to make our lives easier. She was able to pivot and adapt effectively so that on the day-of everything flowed together effortlessly and we could just be present and enjoy the party! She was so patient when I forgot a critical item at the last minute and came up with a quick solution. She expertly coordinated 14 vendors across 2 venues, and our reception venue team even raved that they had never had such a well-run, organized, and not to mention fun, wedding! Because of her leadership, support, and attention to detail, my husband and I, and our families, were able to be fully present and enjoy every single moment. She took care of our inventory and ensured all our items, attire, and gifts made it home safely. Not only did my husband and I have the night of our lives, but I have had so many friends say it was one of the funnest, best weddings they have ever been to!     Laura is the BEST
