While we worked hard to support your wedding, we recognize that your experience did not feel the way you had hoped. We’d also like to provide some additional context around the planning process. Our packages rely on structured planning checkpoints and timely client information so we can prepare timelines and address concerns in advance. Much of the information needed was received later than requested, which compressed our normal preparation timeline. Despite this, we continued accommodating additional conversations, changes, and planning needs leading up to the wedding. No additional charges were assessed; our intention was simply to clarify the information needed to keep the planning timeline on track and ensure the checkpoint and finalization meetings could serve their intended purpose. The incorrect date was an unfortunate human error and we sincerely apologize. The proof was provided to the multiple stakeholders in planning and approved without the error being identified. While client approval is an important safeguard, we recognize that we are professionals and should have caught it as well. The mirror was corrected on-site, and the guest book was remedied immediately following the event. Some wedding-day decisions also had circumstances that may not have been apparent at the time. Vendor gratuities had not been forgotten and were being distributed as vendors completed their services. Speeches were briefly adjusted because sunset photography altered the photographers’ meal period, and they shortened their break to return in time to document the speeches. Wedding-day timelines are dynamic, and adjustments are sometimes necessary to protect the overall experience. We view this as a valuable learning experience and an opportunity to grow and further refine our processes.
