Hey there, I’m Jami Pollnow Heath. I’m a wedding planner living and working in Richmond, Virginia. I'm a Maryland native living Richmond Virginia with my husband in our first home; a big beautiful project in Fulton Hill. In my journey down the aisle I found more than just my future partner, I found what I was meant to do; helping people like you say "I do" too!

I love every detail of this beautiful process from pinning your bouquet ideas to creating centerpieces, and hand lettering anything I can get my hands on. With over 175 weddings under my belt I can help you identify impediments, draw on a wealth of vendor experiences and connections, and help you navigate all the hurdles and decisions you’ll face throughout your wedding planning journey.

Amazing Planner!!
I worked with Jami and her team for my August 2026 wedding in Richmond, Virginia and it was one of the best decisions I made throughout the planning process! She was a preferred vendor for my venue (Upper Shirley Vineyards) and came at the personal recommendation of the venue staff once I had booked my date. At booking, Jami was extremely professional and I knew from our first call she would bring a wealth of experience not just to the wedding day, but to help me navigate the entire process from start to finish. Right away her incredible warmth helped put me at ease, and knowing I had her in my corner during wedding planning made the entire process much less stressful. Across the Richmond wedding industry, Jami has incredible relationships with other vendors and was able to give curated recommendations based on my budget and needs - all which worked out perfectly. Jami is a true creative and throughout the entire process was a wonderful collaborator! After I had made a wedding vision, she helped me fill in the gaps with the details that made the entire day come together. She was always willing to attend meetings with other vendors, help me brainstorm ideas, and make sure there was not a single detail missed! On the day of, I was able to truly relax and be present knowing her and her team would do (and did do) an incredible job on set up at the venue, coordinate logistics with the venue and the vendor teams, and manage the day's timeline! Some examples of her going above and beyond are bringing books/plants from her home to add to décor, helping me last minute tag name cards with meal selections, creating the most beautiful flat lay with items from her own collection, and attending my rehearsal at the church even though it wasn't required! Truly could not be more thankful she was a part of my wedding and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a planner that is creative, kind, and has an excellent attention to detail!! Really was everything I needed and more to have the best day!!

Jami Does It All!!
We had an amazing experience working with Jami for our wedding at Upper Shirley Vineyard in May 2026. From the very beginning, she was incredibly detail oriented, responsive, organized, and genuinely kind throughout the entire planning process. What really stood out was how much care and creativity she brought to every aspect of our wedding design and vision. She truly held our hand through the entire process — from creating the overall aesthetic and tablescape design to thoughtfully mapping out each location and flow of the wedding events throughout the venue. She made everything feel cohesive, intentional, and uniquely “us.” One of our favorite personal touches was that she hand wrote all of our table numbers and place cards in beautiful calligraphy, which added such an elegant and meaningful touch to the day. On the wedding day, Jami handled everything seamlessly so we could fully enjoy the experience with our family and friends. She was calm, professional, and always one step ahead. We felt completely supported the entire time and are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding so special.

Beautiful Coordination
From our first meeting with Our Curated Design, we knew we had found the right team to bring our vision to life. Their communication throughout the planning process was clear and responsive, making us feel heard at every step. What truly set them apart was their dedication to detail—they coordinated every aspect of our day with precision and went above and beyond with the decorating, transforming our venue into something we didn't even know was possible. The quality of their work was exceptional, and they delivered exactly what we needed without breaking the bank. Wouldn’t have happened without her!
Our wedding simply would not have happened without Jami Pollnow. She is a rare mix of sunshine, calm confidence, and get-it-done energy. From guiding us within budget to pairing us with incredible vendors, she delivered a five-star wedding with ease. On the big day, she ran the show flawlessly — even wrangling drunk friends and brothers with grace and humor. Do yourself a favor and hire her.

Perfect experience with Our Curated Design!
Jami is such an enthusiastic and creative person, making our wedding feel so seamless. Our wedding was unique - my fiancé and I live and work in New York, 8 months to plan the wedding and it was held at my parents’ farm house outside of Richmond with 125 guests. Jami was highly organized and enthusiastic throughout the entire process. She has great relationships with many vendors in the Richmond area and was able to make all of ideas come to life. We truly couldn’t have had such a successful wedding without Jami and her unwavering calmness and problem solving. For every “what if” and “what about option A vs. option B”, Jami had a thoughtful answer - from how to incorporate a dessert food truck to the officiant’s speech to sensible footwear.
