If panoramic mountain views in a rustic chic location is desired, The Lodge provides the perfect venue; complete with a mountain grove ceremony, soaring timber ceilings, and crystal chandeliers. Our Tasting Room exemplifies the best of Virginia craft beer and the Monticello wine country nestled into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains : We are unique, in that we offer both onsite vineyards and a brewery offering award winning small production wines and craft beers.

Expansive barn doors open to stunning mountain views, while the outdoor deck, complete with a fireplace and antique fountains, adds a romantic touch. Why are you waiting to book here?
The Event Barn at Mount Ida is the place to start the next chapter for any couple! We booked here after seeing multiple other venues who lack that "certain something" that the bride and groom were looking for. I feel certain that the cascading stairs to the picturesque gazebo was that "certain something" the couple wanted but as the Mother of the Bride, the beauty of the Farm spoke for itself. The venue employees is what made this the full package. Our initial tour was with Frankie who was patient and knowledgeable with our numerous questions. Throughout the process, we worked side by side with Bronwyn, who was always quick to get us answers to any question. After booking, we requested a visit to see the venue one more time and we were introduced to Matt. Matt is the BEST! He was our POC thereafter. He is the best in this business! He works countless hours, is willing to step in at any moment to make sure things go smoothly, and always has a smile on his face. I can't applaud him enough for a job well done for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding! According to the bride and groom, wedding day at The Event Barn was "The Best Day EVER!"

The Lodge was an incredible venue to have a wedding at. Mount Ida's staff (especially Frankie and Bronwyn) were pleasant to work with and professional while we toured, booked, and hosted the event. The views are fantastic, the grounds are gorgeous, and the venue itself has been designed with every accommodation in mind. We have nothing but happy memories from our wedding and strongly recommend all couples check out The Lodge and Mount Ida for their events.

We love Mount Ida!
We recently had our wedding at the Event Barn and Gazebo and it was spectacular. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the space was, and the staff was so courteous and friendly. They were a dream to work with. We would recommend Mount Ida to any couple!
