Ricki, owner and lead planner, brings more than 20 years of wedding planning experience, professional certification, and a background in graphic and fashion design. Her combination of creative design, detailed organization, problem-solving, and development of our proprietary Site Plan App gives couples both the creative and logistical guidance required to bring their wedding vision together.

Full Wedding Planning is for couples who want a deeply personal wedding without making planning a second full-time job. We guide the entire journey—from venue and vendor selection to design, logistics, and meaningful details. Our custom, full-color, to-scale site plans let you visualize your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception before the wedding day, so you can be fully present while we bring it all to life.

Select Wedding Planning is our partial wedding planning experience for couples who have already found their venue and want expert guidance for what comes next. We step in wherever you are, focusing on the areas where you want support—from vendor selection and design to logistics and meaningful details—creating a wedding that feels personal, cohesive, and distinctly yours.

For couples who want a wedding that feels beautifully cohesive and unmistakably theirs, our Event Design service brings the vision together—from color palette, décor, rentals, and meaningful details to our custom, full-color, to-scale site plans. We help you see how your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will look and flow before the wedding day, so every design choice feels intentional.

Wedding Day Management is our comprehensive approach to wedding coordination for couples ready to step away from managing the details. Beginning at least three months before your wedding, we learn your plans, vendors, and priorities, then prepare the timeline, site plans, rehearsal, and logistics. On the wedding day, our team brings it all together so you can be fully present. You created it. Now it’s your turn to experience it.

    Beauty and the Beast Wedding

    Omg where do I even begin! Ricki is the best wedding planner. She is kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and everything in between. Her team is also amazing, from her assistants to her husband! Ricki helped me plan the wedding of my dreams. I am huge Disney fan, so I told her my theme was Beauty and the Beast, and she put everything together. From finding the perfect venue that fits that theme to finding the most amazing wedding dress I have ever laid eyes on. Planning a wedding is stressful regardless, but having her eased so much of that stress and helped me and my now husband enjoy the process so much more. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking to have the wedding they always dreamed of.

    Ricki is the BEST

    Working with Ricki Lewis Events was an absolute pleasure. From the very beginning, Ricki took the time to truly understand my daughter's vision and transformed her ideas into a beautiful and cohesive wedding design concept. She created an inspiring mood board and showed us realistic renderings of how our backyard could be transformed for the celebration, including a clear floor pool cover and an elegant canopy structure over the tennis court. Yes. We accept only one wedding per weekend so our attention is fully focused on you. If your planning service includes events such as the rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch, those are part of the same wedding weekend and receive that same dedicated attention. We do not divide our team between unrelated weddings during your weekend, allowing you to feel fully supported from beginning to end.

Absolutely. Ricki Lewis Events proudly welcomes all couples and all love stories. We want every couple and partner to feel respected, comfortable, understood, and genuinely celebrated throughout the planning process. Your wedding should reflect who you are together, so we take the time to understand your priorities and create a celebration that feels personal, authentic, and unmistakably yours.
By the time your wedding day arrives, we don't want you answering vendor questions, watching the clock, or wondering whether everything is happening as planned. We prepare well in advance with detailed timelines, site plans, vendor communication, and contingency planning. Because Wedding Day Management begins at least 90 days before your wedding, we already know the details so you can simply experience the day.
The amount of time we work together depends on the service you select. Full Wedding Planning may begin a year or more before your wedding, Partial Wedding Planning begins after your venue is selected, and Wedding Day Management begins at no less than 90 days before the wedding. Our goal is to step in at the right time with the right level of guidance so you feel supported, organized, and confident about what comes next.
Finding the right wedding vendors shouldn't feel like sorting through hundreds of strangers online. After 20+ years in the wedding industry, we have relationships with trusted professionals throughout Los Angeles and Southern California. We recommend vendors based on your style, priorities, personality, and budget, and certain relationships may also provide access to preferred pricing or savings when available.
There is peace of mind in knowing the team guiding your wedding has done this many times before. Ricki Lewis Events brings 20+ years of professional wedding planning experience and is certified, licensed, and insured, with $2 million in liability coverage and workers' compensation insurance. Our design background, vendor relationships, and hands-on experience allow you to make decisions with greater confidence.
Our wedding-day team is scaled to the size and complexity of your celebration. Smaller weddings may require a team of two, while very large weddings may include up to 10 team members. As a general guideline, we plan for approximately one team member per 50 guests so your wedding receives the appropriate level of attention and support.
Our planning fees reflect the scope and complexity of each wedding, including guest count, locations, design involvement, logistics, and level of planning support. Because every wedding is different, our services are customized rather than one-size-fits-all. Ricki Lewis Events planning fees generally range from $3,250–$8,500.
