Sunshower had me convinced in the first ten minutes of consultation they were the right ones to see us through our special day. My now husband and I had a concept of a Hawaiian wedding, but had no idea where to begin & everything seemed so out of reach. I came across Sunshower in my search & through their initial questionnaire, they provided so many realistic & beautiful options for exactly what we wanted/searched for. Kate walked us through so many details in that one initial conversation, there was no question for us to move forward with Sunshower. And, that was only the beginning. Kate entrusted Alison with our special day throughout the process & we couldn’t be more grateful for this collaboration. We worked with Alison & Sunshower for just over a year to nail down every detail-so much care & time went into every call with the team. The stress of wedding planning I’ve only heard about, because I was never stressed with Alison leading the way. She even went above & beyond as our website designer & eventually preserved my bouquet, as well. I don’t think there’s anything she can’t do. Welcome party & rehearsal all coordinated & organized without a hitch. The BIG day—when I arrived, it truly felt like a fairytale. The venue was stunning & every detail was amazing. We definitely didn’t host the most expensive wedding, but everything was elevated & beautiful. Alison & the day of team WORKED! Every moment was coordinated & facilitated to perfection. I didn’t even have to think about a beverage or food because there was someone constantly checking in & not just being reassuring but offering guidance through a day that can feel like a blur. This attention to care & detail allowed my husband & I to be fully immersed in our day. After now reaching the end of our peak wedding season for friends and family—if I didn’t know how spectacular this team was before, I can firmly say we had the BEST wedding planners in the game! Because of Sunshower—my first piece of wedding advice is HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER! If you’re fortunate enough to be getting married in Hawaii, you’d be doing yourself a disservice by NOT hiring Sunshower. Their care, attention to detail & passion are unmatched.

I loved Alison, who was our planner and worked with us from the very beginning—from helping us draft a budget to designing our dream wedding. I felt that the whole team were very detail oriented and Alison was very accessible, even though we were planning a destination wedding while working in China.
