About Taylor Event Co

Megan de Farcy

Owner & Principal Planner

I fell in love with weddings in 2014. I still love witnessing two people setting eyes on each other from opposite ends of the aisle. Even if they have shared a first look, that moment is the official start of a new chapter, and it still melts my heart. Weddings are personal, and require a lot of attention to detail. My purpose is taking on all the details, so my couples can focus on what matters most.

I consider myself an event producer - I find out what your vision and passions are, and help curate the perfect vendor team to bring your mood board to life. In addition to planning, I have experience in catering, venue management and florals. My background give me a deeper, more well-rounded perspective of the planning process, and allows me to better serve my clients.

In three words: Calm, Collaborative, Resourceful

LOVE working with Taylor Event Co.!

As a venue we love working with planners who understand the venue, the area, and who have a passion for this industry. Recommending Megan to our clients means we know they will be in great hands which makes our own lives even easier and of course the couples wedding day all the more smooth!

To provide an exceptional level of service, we do not book multiple events on a weekend. Our focus is an exceptional planning experience from consult to send off; we are a value business, not a volume business. We typically execute 9-14 events per year; we evaluate the scope of each event before considering additional clients, allowing us to provide an intentional and quality planning experience.
Planning, Design, Production and Management are the four pillars of our full planning service. We assist with every detail, including venue and vendor selection, design development and execution, guest & RSVP management, and wedding weekend production.
