The best decision!!
My husband and I were lucky to have a unique and unconventional venue for both our ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, we had to provide all the chairs and decor for a narrow outdoor space and figure out how to direct guests to and from the ceremony and transition everyone to the reception venue just a few doors down. We knew we needed help with day-of coordination, vendor management, and design tips to make it all logistically work. We first met with Shelby shortly after our engagement, when we weren’t even sure if we wanted or needed the extra help. Once we realized we could handle the majority of the planning ourselves, Weir Weddings’ flexible coordination packages turned out to be exactly what we needed. We booked the two-month coordination package to help us manage all the final details we either would have forgotten or become way too overwhelmed trying to handle ourselves. We also booked Weir the Music for custom pieces during our ceremony, and we appreciated the. convenience if booking 1 vendor for two services. Something Shelby did amazingly is find all of the missing pieces and details of things we wouldn't have even thought of, and really nudging the emphasis of weather and a rain plan (which we ended up needing!) Having someone extra to contact for tips and guidance is a piece of mind that is priceless during the stress of wedding planning. The MVP however was one of the Wedding Planner Assistants, Addie, who was there on the day-of to handle so many moving pieces. She was running between the bridal suite at the hotel, the ceremony space, and reception, pivoting when rain became a factor, coordinating big personalities, and somehow still making my husband and me feel completely at ease throughout it all. We were blown away that she single-handedly moved all of our items from one venue to the other at the end of the ceremony in the rain. She came back soaked to say goodbye, but was always smiling and in high spirits. She made us feel as taken care-of as possible on the day of. Her huge efforts were immediately recognized by all our family and friends for being such a huge help but also taking on a lot of work. The only thing we wish was clarified was that we thought both Shelby AND Addie would be there until the very end of the planning, as we spoke strictly with Shelby for all of the lead-up, and we are sure the extra hands would have been helpful. So we'd recommend to fully clarify who exactly will be there on the day of! We could not have handled the day without the incredible work of Weir Weddings and efficiency and talent oof Weir the Music, are so blown away by their service. We'd would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a team that can adapt to their needs and bring their vision to life, from either full time. planning for short-term planning!

Stress Free Wedding Day
From the start, I had a very specific vision for my wedding day that I planned myself. I was a DIY decor bride, with particular taste. Throughout the wedding planning process, I realized that on the day of my wedding trying to navigate having a separate ceremony and reception location, there was no way I was going to be able to do it all myself. I met with many Massachusetts wedding planners and day of coordinators and absolutely no one is as dedicated to their couples as Shelby. From the time we hired Shelby for “month of” planning support, she was our biggest cheerleader and accountability partner. Shelby never thought we were “too much” and went out of her way to ask detailed questions about what our vision for our big day was. There is no job the day of the wedding that Shelby can’t handle. Because of Shelby, all my vendors had a detailed timeline of what to expect day of and what I wanted from them. When I tell you I didn’t have to make a single phone call or write a single email to a vendor, I mean NOBODY called me to ask questions the week of the wedding. This is because Shelby handles everything and follows up with everyone on your behalf before they could call you. All my vendors loved working with Shelby and appreciated her professionalism and thoroughness. On the day of the wedding, Shelby executed every single piece of my wedding better than I could have imagined. She took care to display everything beautifully, and I received so many compliments about how all the little details came together. Shelby constantly checked in with me to make sure I had anything I needed. My day was completely stress free due to Shelby. At the end of the night, everything was already packed up for me and placed in the designated areas. My husband and I both were hesitant to hire a wedding planner, especially because we had already planned so much of the wedding on my own. However, after the wedding day we both reflected that hiring Shelby was the best money we spent on our wedding day. We cannot endorse Shelby’s services enough! If you want a stress free wedding where you don’t have to lift a finger, hire Wedding by Weir.

Mother of the bride
My daughter's wedding was a beautiful wedding thanks to the great and hard work of Shelby. The live music made the ceremony and the wedding extra special. She was very professional from the beginning of the planning until the wedding day. Planning the wedding for my daughter help her and the family enjoy the process and the wedding day. I never knew how hard a wedding planner works. We highly recommend Shelby!

Shelby is amazing!
