About this venue
Welcome to The Bayview. We are located on the beautiful Nautical Mile on the South Shore of Freeport, Long Island. Our brand-new venue can accommodate up to 300 guests comfortably for formal affairs with dancing, and up to 400 for cocktail receptions. The Bayview has 3 levels of panoramic open bay views that create a stunning atmosphere for any occasion, including an exquisite rooftop. We cater to all occasions; however, we are proud to specialize in Wedding receptions.

Our Grand Ballroom can be the perfect place for your next event.
Our Grand Ballroom can accommodate parties of up to 300 people for a seated event or 400 people for a cocktail-style event. Large windows wrap the exterior of the room allowing in plenty of light with panoramic views of the open bay.

Bayview
Bayview on the Water made planning our wedding so easy from start to finish. Their team was always one step ahead of what we needed, which took so much stress out of the process. The venue itself is stunning with modern design and views that made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. But honestly, the food was unreal – our guests couldn't stop talking about it – and the staff made sure everyone felt taken care of all night. The ambiance was everything we hoped for, and we can't recommend them enough to couples looking for a venue that delivers on every level.

Sadly a bad experience
I will start with the good. I was a DIY bride & when my brother brought the decorations in, Carla took control & set up for my family. That was a big help & we appreciated it! Cocktail hour – my husband attended and said it was very good. The food was a hit at cocktail hour. If you could swing the Yatch after party it is a 10 out of 10!!! We had so much fun. Now unfortunately everything else. The person we originally booked with left, shortly after. So we were being bounced around by individuals that also kept leaving. I expressed my concerns and was reassured by Michael that the day of will run smoothly. A guest, my brother in law had a SEVERE allergic reaction to CHICKEN he ate at cocktail hour that was not labeled to have NUTS. The cocktail hour in my bridal suit. – I told Kirsten I do not eat beef ahead of time. My suit had beef in every plate. Carla corrected it. But at that point the food was on a plate and cold. The matre-D was VERY confrontational. IF you have a way “things should be” then you should’ve met with me prior to advise us on how the day should go. Not on the day when the DJ already had the order. Secondly I wanted my dressed bussled AFTER my entrance and she had an attitude about that. Third, She kept saying “the bride will stand at the table with her father” When my father passed away. I just thought she was SUPER unprofessional. As many time she said “just let me know what you need” she would contradict herself with offering her opinion when it wasn’t needed. She was rude about my timeline saying I have 5 speeches and that is a lot. And that my guest won’t have time before dinner to get on the dance floor but I did it that way so we got formalities out the way. So after dinner could just be a party. She was acting like this was HER wedding. Lastly, the food. As a bride, I had the salmon & I had HARD pieces of rice. Like either over cooked or under. I had several complaints about the dinner food. Overall, I WOULD NOT recommend The Bayview to any of my friends. I would tell them just to get a Yatch after party somewhere else.

From our first phone call through final visits and emails, the team at Bayview on the Water kept us informed every step of the way. The venue itself is stunning—it has this perfect blend of grand architecture, modern touches, and classic elegance that made our wedding day feel sophisticated and timeless. When we ran into a couple of small issues on the day of, their staff handled everything with grace and came up with quick solutions so we could keep enjoying our celebration. The bridal attendants were incredibly helpful and made sure we felt taken care of throughout the entire event. But honestly, what really stood out was the food—our guests haven't stopped talking about how incredible it was. We felt confident choosing Bayview on the Water and would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with a team that truly cares.

Best Venue on Earth
I cannot say enough good things about this venue. Their space is beautiful and their food is incredible. But the underrated asset to this venue is how organized and accommodating they were. The weeks leading up to my wedding they were so organized in letting me know what I still needed and helped me in any way possible. I'm still speechless about how incredible they were the day of. They coordinated absolutely everything and were constantly making sure the groom and I were having a good time and wrapped up so much food for us, they truly went above and beyond. If you want your day to go well and to have fun at your wedding, book this place.
