Welcome. Blanco, an Urban Venue, is the Bay Area’s premier event space in historic downtown San Jose. This charming building has been transformed into a three-story and 8,000-square-foot blank canvas ideal for weddings, corporate & social events. Blanco has kept the allure of this historic building by refurbishing some of its original features, like its 150-year-old brick walls. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Blanco is a stylish space with an old-world appeal.

The Great Room
Blank canvas with 30" ceilings to bring your vision to life.
The Great Room is over 3,870 square feet of indoor function space with unobstructed floor space with multiple configuration options. The space can be used for wedding receptions & meetings with live streaming, photo & video recording. The Great Room has a maximum capacity of 220 for a seated event & 300 for a cocktail reception.

Perched atop historic San Pedro Square, our over 2,200 square foot unique Rooftop Terrace is ideal for ceremonies, receptions or outdoor meetings. The rustic fireplace, olive trees & landscaping transform any event into a magical experience under the stars. The Terrace seats up to 170 for wedding ceremonies or 100 for seated dinner.

Absolutely Stunning
Working with Urban Blanco was an absolute pleasure! As a wedding Planner who's in and out of dozens of venues every year, I don't say this lightly — this venue is at the very top of my list. A huge part of that is Renee, who manages the space. She is welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful every single time I've worked an event there. She makes vendors and couples feel taken care of, and that kind of hospitality makes a real difference on wedding day. The venue itself is another huge win — a great San Jose location with three distinct areas, which gives couples so much flexibility for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, or just for hosting any event. It's rare to find a venue with this much versatility in one location. If you're searching for a wedding venue, Urban Blanco is a must-see. Ask for Renee — you'll be in great hands!

Beautiful 3 story Venue, AMAZING location
We chose Blanco Urban Venue for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the decision. From the start, the team responded quickly to all our questions and made planning feel straightforward. We were drawn to the place as it allowed for Ceremony, Cocktail, and Reception to all be in one space, with a super smooth flow, and allowed our pet to walk down the ceremony aisle. Chrissy gave us a tour and was SO warm and welcoming taking time to answer our questions and even graciously scheduled a second tour with the parents. She was super honest and open about anything we asked, providing solutions to concerns, and the day worked out exactly as she described. We had a 165 person wedding, and was worried about it feeling cramped but it honestly felt very roomy and comfortable for moving around and dancing. There was enough room for all the chairs, tables, and even had a nice space for vendor table! The included tables and chairs saved us time and money, and we loved how our other vendors raved about the venue too—it made coordinating everything so much easier. The bartenders really impressed us with their skill, and those signature cocktails were delicious even though drinks came at a premium price. However, right after the ceremony, Chrissy immediatley found the bride and groom to give us our signature drinks, and even gave one to the nervous parents. It was such a personal touch that we will remember forever. Being in San Pedro Square, parking was a breeze at only 10 dollars for the whole day, and a easy spot to Uber to. We had a world cup watch party coinciding with our day, but the team proactivley warned us and helped us have alternatives on communicating with guests to make sure everyone made it smoothly. Overall, Blanco delivered on quality and service, and we'd recommend them to any couple looking for a polished, all-in-one venue.

A Beautiful Wedding Venue
We are so happy we chose Blanco Urban Venue for our wedding! From the moment we walked into the space during our initial visit with Chrissy, we knew it was the one. The venue is absolutely beautiful, incredibly convenient, and checked every box on our list. Once we locked in our date, Renee stepped in as our venue manager and was equally fantastic. Both were warm, responsive, and true partners throughout the entire planning process. They went above and beyond — recommending vendors, being flexible when working through our bar package, and always making us feel like a priority. We did run into a last-minute hiccup with the scheduling of our rehearsal, but Renee and the team handled it with grace and sincerity. They were genuinely apologetic and did everything in their power to make sure the rest of our wedding day went off without a hitch. Blanco Urban Venue is a stunning space backed by an equally wonderful team. We would recommend them to any couple looking for their perfect wedding venue!
