We have a spacious stage and gorgeous hardwood dance floors to bring your vintage-inspired, Old Hollywood dreams to life. Located in Pasadena, just minutes from several hotel options for out of town guests. Our lofted ceilings and skylights give gorgeous natural light for stunning photos, and guests love the Parisian café-style bar area. Also available for engagement shoots and filming!     Easiest booking ever!

    Danielle and Jill were SO helpful in the booking process!! They were kind and accommodating and answered all my questions. In the craziness of wedding planning they made it super easy and painless. The space is gorgeous and the dance floor is INCREDIBLE. Cannot wait to have our wedding here!!!

    Versitile Space

    I thoroughly enjoyed the venue – it was an exceptional setting for our event. The party went off without a hitch, and our interactions with the host were incredibly smooth and informative, with every question promptly addressed. What stood out to us was the versatility of the space, as it featured distinct areas that we could personalize to our liking. The space's intrinsic beauty, characterized by its lighting and captivating high ceiling, minimized the need for a lot of decorations. We took advantage of the spacious stage for live music and still had plenty of room for dancing. This venue has been my go-to choice for multiple events, consistently eliciting enthusiastic responses from guests. The acoustics were also awesome, enhancing the overall experience.

    My favorite large ballroom to book at

    The Crown theater looked amazing on camera for my film shoot. Pre-lighting it gives off a glamorous western vibe- but is very open creatively in the way it can be decorated and lit. I booked Crown Theature for my film shoot after attending a friends film shoot as well as dance lessons and Monday night dance events. And it is hands-down the best dance floor in Southern California and I love their teachers and staff there. When I booked the film shoot Danielle and her team was extremely helpful in giving locational tips too to making my vision come to Pass. I was able to create three different unique looks and I’m really thankful I found this place and we definitely book it and I highly recommend it. If I had a wedding I’d definitely book here (right after a photo shoot and City Hall) because you will get an amazing cinematic turn out for whatever vision you have as well as friendly and helpful service. You Crown Theature!

Our highest activity is around May/June and October/November, so if your dates fall in this range we suggest booking ASAP.

Yes, valet parking is available for a fee. Rate varies depending on number of people and hours. We do not offer in-and-out privileges or self-parking.
