A Beautiful Day Made Even More Special
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose Wedgewood Weddings! From our very first venue appointment, we felt welcomed and knew we were in good hands. Although we were initially torn between Rio and The Sanctuary, we are SO glad we chose Rio. The venue was beautiful, and the entire planning process was organized and seamless, from the online portal and payment plan to the meetings and check-ins. A huge thank you to Joanne, Kali, Liz, and Davina for all their help, patience, and support throughout the process. And a very special shoutout to Tamica, who truly cared about bringing our ideas and personal touches to life. She was so kind and attentive to both us and our guests, and having her by our side made our wedding day even more special. We also appreciate Nestor for making sure everything throughout the evening, including our belongings, was taken care of. Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more! Best Team Ever
We didn't have a clear vision when we started planning, just a general idea of what we wanted, but Liz and Davina made the whole process feel effortless. On our wedding day, our coordinator and the entire team—from the banquet captain to the DJ to the food staff—showed us what true dedication looks like. Every single person poured their heart into making our day special, and it was obvious they genuinely loved what they do. From our first tour with Tamica, we knew Rio Hondo by Wedgewood Weddings was the right choice for our wedding. She took her time showing us around, walked us through the pricing with no surprises, and followed up with a thoughtful thank you. Throughout our planning, communication was clear and professional—we stayed connected through emails and text messages whenever we had questions. On our wedding day, Kali was our coordinator and handled every detail with precision, making sure we and our guests felt taken care of from start to finish. Once Kali's shift ended, Katherine the banquet captain seamlessly took over and kept everything running smoothly. The venue itself gave us the best of both worlds with spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, plus a beautiful bridal and groom suite where we could relax before the celebration began.
