About this venue

The DAC Event Center sits on Willamette Street in downtown Eugene, part of a family-owned club that has anchored this block for more than 40 years. Our spaces flex to fit the celebration. The Ballroom holds up to 300 guests across 3,300 square feet, with room for a dance floor and a head table. For something more intimate, the Dining Room (up to 80), Club Room (up to 50), and Sunset Room (up to 40) carry the same warm, well-kept feel at a smaller scale. When the weather cooperates, the Rooftop Patio opens up over the street for cocktails under open sky. We're glad to point you toward caterers we trust so the food matches the day you have in mind. You'll have a dressing suite to get ready in, help with setup and cleanup, and one point of contact. High ceilings, wide windows, natural light, and wood details give the rooms a classic feel without the fuss. The best way to know if it's right for your day is to stand in the room. Come see it in person, and we'll walk you through it.

I was in town to move my kid into the dorms and needed some exercise. The DAC was close and I’m so glad I used it. Erin (sp?) at the front desk and Jen were amazingly friendly and helpful. Plus the facility is great. I wished I had more time just to chill in the lovely lobby. I look forward to making it back during a future visit weekend.

Hi Krista, thanks for the glowing reveiw! We're so happy you were able to spend some time at the Club. We'll be sure to pass on the kudos to Erin and Jen! P.S. We offer student discounts, so if your kid ever wants a workout spot off campus, we'll happily adopt them. See you next visit weekend!

I Love the staffs, at the Dac. The weight room is really spread out. Its Huge . I tried to go 3 to 4 times a week for weight training. The other days I was taking yoga classes with Jean...She is great, helps me with my body awareness, afterward i just wanted to go into the Sauna when I was done with my class I could not sit on the Bench because , I think her name is Dianna, made it clear , she would will not move so I can sit down on the lower bench. Her gym bag and towels was spread our. She acts like she own the sauna. I thought the sauna is a public space for all members 'I Like to use the sauna without being bully? Can you guys monitor your sauna.??? We all pays the same dues.

Hi Capri. We appreciate you sharing your feedback, and we're glad the weight room and Jean's yoga classes have been a great part of your routine! What you're describing in the sauna isn't the experience we want for any member. Shared spaces are meant to be open and comfortable for everyone, and we take that seriously. We'll be following up on this directly with our team to make sure expectations around shared space are clear for all members. We'd also welcome the chance to talk with you directly. Please reach out to our General Manager, Brenda Montgomery at bmontgomery@downtownac.com so we can hear more and address this properly.
