About this venue
Heceta Head is one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world! The Lighthouse and Light Keeper’s home are circa 1894. Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. From a height of 205 feet above the ocean, its “first order” Fresnel lens, casts it’s beams some 21 miles out to sea. It is the brightest light on the Oregon coast. It is said to be the most photographed lighthouse in the United States. The Light Keeper’s home is perched on a cliff with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and the beach below. Paths from the Light Keeper’s Home lead both to the beach and to the lighthouse. Very special couples have chosen the Heceta Lighthouse B&B as their wedding destination and we are happy that you are considering us for your special day. It is a home where family and friends can feel comfortable and relaxed. Each wedding we have experienced has been unique. The West Lawn
Most beautiful and unique setting on the Pacific Coast!
The West Lawn is a fenced acre of grass around the Lightkeeper's Home. A clear sided tent with heat and lighting keeps up to 150 loved ones warm, relaxed, and dancing all night. Tent sizes available are 40x40, 40x60, and 40x80. The Lightkeeper's Home is also accessible when renting the West Lawn. Outside the tent there is still space for an outdoor ceremony with up to 150 chairs and mingling areas with tall bistro tables.

The first floor of the historic Keeper's Home has 2 parlors with fireplaces and ocean views, a dining room with view of the culinary garden and wooded hillside, the guest kitchen with lighthouse view, the wrap around front porch with lighthouse and ocean views, and the 1 acre lawn surrounding the B&B. It is adorn with antique furniture and historic photos and relics of the lightkeepers time period.

Above and Beyond - beautiful, historic venue
Heceta Lighthouse B&B exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Their communication was always prompt, kind, and the staff went above and beyond to make our day special. The historic property is absolutely lovely and it felt iconically “Oregon”. The staff and their preferred vendors made everything seamless - they were warm, generous, and hospitable, and we felt so creatively aligned with them. They took great care of us and our guests before the event, throughout our wedding day and through the next day (as we stayed the night with our wedding party in the B&B). We could not have asked for a better venue and team to celebrate our marriage. We highly recommend Heceta Lighthouse B&B to any couple looking for a unique and memorable wedding experience.

It's a magical place that must be experienced to be appreciated. Gary and the entire staff are lovely. The grounds are impeccable, the rooms, communal breakfast, amazing porch, and views provide the upscale hostel vibe you never knew you wanted. Stay two nights and eat a unique breakfast each day.
