The contemporary room features six sets of French doors that open directly onto the patio and gardens, creating an easy flow between indoors and out. Warm lighting, wall sconces, and a built in dance floor add to the inviting atmosphere. The Terrace Level accommodates up to 120 guests for a reception style event.

Description

Our wedding weekend package includes extended access to the entire venue all weekend long, giving you plenty of time to decorate, rehearse, celebrate, and relax with family and friends. Clients have access Friday from 5:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am-1:00am, and Sunday from 8:00am-10:00am.

    Loved having our wedding here!!!

    From the moment we started planning, the team at Grand Ledge Opera House made the entire process simple and stress-free with their quick responses and thoughtful guidance. We rented both levels for our wedding and had the freedom to customize lots of details, which allowed us to create exactly the celebration we envisioned. The terrace was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and cocktail hour, while the Grand Hall provided an awesome space for dinner and dancing, and the balcony layout was super unique and fun for photos. The staff stayed out of the way when we needed space but jumped in to help whenever something came up, and their organization made coordination seamless. We were thrilled to have the venue so late, which kept the energy high and the party going strong. At such a reasonable price for a space this impressive, Grand Ledge Opera House is an outstanding choice for couples who want flexibility and genuine support from start to finish.

Yes, the Opera House is wheelchair accessible. For access into the Grand Hall we have a ramped entrance into the building. Access to the Terrace Level is via an outdoor stairway with a service drive for vendor and guest drop off.
The Opera House allows alcoholic beverages at rental events provided the following rules are followed. The bar must be “open” and served at no cost to guests. A certified bartender or professional bar service must serve all alcohol. Bartenders must comply with all local, state, and federal laws. No cash bars are allowed without a state license permit, which is the client's responsibility to obtain.
The Opera House parking lot will accommodate 45 vehicles. There is a City parking lot across the street, as well as street parking. All options are free.
A date is secured when a contract has been completed and signed, and a deposit equal to one-half of the facility rental cost for your event has been paid.
We strongly recommend using a caterer from our Preferred Caterers list on the Resources Page, as they are familiar with the Opera House and help ensure a smooth event. There is no additional fee to use a preferred caterer. If you choose a non-preferred caterer, there will be an additional per-person catering fee applied to your account. Non-preferred caterers are required to provide proof of a valid kitchen license and liability insurance before approval.
Yes, the Opera House requires proof of liability insurance of no less than $500,000.
