About this venue
We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney built in 1900 and established in 1970. The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with private property venues that include the Katie's garden/gazebo/groom's garden, Carriage House, and Courtyard. The private garden, Carriage House, and courtyard venue spaces are available to rent, and the main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! When you book your tour or event with us you are supporting art, history, preservation, the community, and Kathryn Heard-Craig's legacy.

A Wedding with History from 1900 in our Historic Gazebo and Garden!
The Garden accommodates up to 150 guests and is graced with a large white Gazebo (for the ceremony) , a groom's garden, and two white wedding arches through which you can make a grand entrance. Great price
They were able to offer everything we needed! It was relaxing, and lovely. They were incredibly reasonable, and most of the options were a la carte, so we were able to keep our costs lower by picking and choosing only what we needed.
