Fully customized events in an elegant setting with the uniqueness of being the only event on your special day. Idlewild lays about 25 miles south of Chicago, located in the beautiful town of Flossmoor, Illinois. This elegant property provides the perfect location to host your wedding reception and ceremony. The ballroom has a capacity to receive 50-375 guests. Idlewild provides a lot of your basic need such as silverware, glass wear, napkins, & much more! The expert banquet manager on site will be there to ensure the planning process is as simple as possible and enjoyable. The chef, along with the culinary team will produce a meal that will delight all of your guests and accommodate any food restrictions. You are also free to customize your very own menu for the day. If you do not see something listed or on our menu, please ask!

Your reservation includes 5.5 hours of reception time from start to finish. This does not count for ceremony time, setting up time, or clean up time. Your event is the only event, come as early as 8am to use our bridal suite & decorate!

Set up, clean up, tables, chairs, chair covers, silverware, glassware, linens, napkins, three passed apps, salad, main entree, rolls/butter, 4-hour premium bar, food tasting up to 6 people, dance floor, no cake cutting charge, wine service during dinner, and professional event service!
