Featuring the illuminated "Firestone" sign, which used to overlook Kansas City 115 feet above 20th and Grand Blvd, our lower level space offers guests an open atmosphere perfect for sharing laughs and making longlasting memories. Also, a beautiful place to snap a picture in front of the iconic neon sign!

    Awesome atmosphere for my wedding. 10/10

    My fiance and I had a tough time trying to find the right venue for our wedding. However, once we met Chris and were shown the space, we instantly felt comfortable with the price, space, and more importantly, the flexibility. The Firestone Building’s rustic feel made for a more unique wedding than the cookie-cutter events on a hillside. Nothing really replaces being close to downtown and having a ton of space for guests. 10/10, would recommend to a friend anytime!

KC Firestone Events is in the Firestone Building at 2001 Grand Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64108. We serve clients across the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line, including Overland Park, Leawood and Johnson County.
KC Firestone Events hosts events for up to 500 guests. Our two event floors, the Lower Level and the First Floor, can be booked separately for smaller events or together for larger ones.
We host weddings and receptions, bridal and baby showers, graduation parties, rehearsal dinners, milestone birthdays, corporate events, galas and fundraisers in Kansas City, and more.

The venue has two event floors: the Lower Level, home to our signature neon Firestone sign, and the First Floor. Book one floor for a smaller event or both floors for a larger celebration.

The Firestone Building was built as Firestone Tire & Rubber's largest single-city investment and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its open floors, white terra cotta and neon Firestone sign give every event a one-of-a-kind Kansas City backdrop.
We are now booking 2026 and 2027 events. Saturdays in spring and fall fill first, so contact us early to hold your date.
