Pavilion wedding
Definitely some communication problems leading up to about a month before the wedding. We were finally able to get teamed up with an event coordinator Maddie. She was wonderful to work with and highly recommended her. Overall everything went smoothly, the staff were wonderful. Food was excellent. Most of my family stayed in the hotel overnight and the staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately, the staff forgot to put out our cupcakes and we went home like 15 dozen mini cupcakes. Overall the day was perfect but I do recommend getting an outside day of coordinator to help a couple months out.

Beautiful day & venue be careful of your planner
We had such an amazing wedding at Kent Island! The food was fantastic, the venue (the gazebo and the pavilion) were absolutely beautiful and the weather couldn't have been better! That being said, we had flagged early concerns with our wedding planner and unfortunately they went unheard. I'm so thankful that I followed the preferred vendors list because everyone from my florals, hair, make up, and DJ all supported me and gave solid advice regarding the venue provided planner - so we ended up hiring someone externally to support our day of. Our planner that the venue provided left 30 minutes before our ceremony started and didn't tell anyone!!! Thank GOD we hired an external planner otherwise I'm afraid of how the day would have worked out.

Dream Day!
From start to finish, the team at Kent Island Resort was incredibly responsive and organized, ensuring our wedding day went smoothly. Mackenzie was there to answer any questions we had throughout the entire process, and we felt heard and understood when it came to bringing our vision to life. The simple elegance and beauty of the venue were exactly what we were looking for, and the Kent Island Resort team executed it perfectly!! We could not have asked for anything more from this wonderful team - our wedding day was truly magical thanks to their hard work and attention to detail.
