Some ideas need time and space to materialize. Transforming an old rodeo horse farm into a creative compound for events and projects has proven to be a challenging example. Over time, thoughtful outbuildings and spaces are popping up throughout a fourteen-acre campus of oak forests and wild meadows. One hundred feet of wiggly barn welcomes experiences from intimate projects to large wedding celebrations with loved ones. The 1,800 square foot barn (originally a horse stable built in two sections between 1940 and 1960) sits pretty on 14 acres. Around 5 of those acres are meadows/open areas and the rest are mainly oak trees.

the best of the best
When we were looking for a wedding venue, we wanted a place where we could create a day that was totally ours. Okay Island exceeded every expectation we had. Our biggest priority was that everyone had something fun to do. We knew not everyone on our guest list was a big dancer, and Adam helped us plan a fire pit to sit around with cornhole boards; he even let us bring in a ping pong table for guests to play at. Probably one of the most special parts of booking with Okay Island was that Adam spoke of so many plans he had to continue to have the space grow and evolve. It felt really special to be able to get married in a space that was just a snapshot of the venue’s story, knowing that we were part of the ride. Our guests had such a great time. So many of them suggested we host a party at Okay Island every year! We're big fans of that idea

The field of my dreams (& wedding)
Right when we saw Okay Island and met the team we knew it was the right fit for us. The communication was straightforward and reassuring every step of the way, which made planning stress-free. What sets this place apart is that it doesn't feel like a wedding factory—it's a true reflection of Adam's artistic vision, built by his own hands. The greenhouse with its natural lighting and the field beyond created the perfect backdrop for our day, and guests couldn't stop talking about the unconventional vibe. We felt like part of the Okay Island family rather than just customers, and that personal touch made all the difference. The whole experience felt organic and genuine, exactly what we were looking for.

Dream wedding
I can't say enough about how special and wonderful this place is. Our experience here was even better than anticipated. The property is beautiful and has plenty of space, and the barn is so unique and lovely. This is not a cookie cutter farm wedding venue, every detail has been carefully considered and taken care of. Adam, the owner, went out of his way to help everything go smoothly and our friends won't stop talking about how amazing it was. It was so special.
