The mansion is a historic landmark that offers a private, quiet getaway – making it the perfect venue for your wedding day. The team of award-winning chefs uses the highest quality of fresh, organic and local ingredients to create unique seasonal menus personalized for you. The mansion hosts six elegant guest rooms for overnight stays, and has beautiful grounds and gardens where you will celebrate your special day.

This structure has a beautiful ballroom with a bar with granite countertops, dance floor, decorative wood arched truss design, and a sound system for music. The reception space includes the indoor fireplace, gathering area and provisions for a bar. large patio area for mingling, combined with an outdoor fireplace, fire ring, fountain, decorative waterfall, and comfortable outdoor furniture.

Beautiful Venue, Disappointing Day of Coordinator
Our wedding at the Mansion at Bald Hill was beautiful, and we are grateful for the wonderful memories we made however, there were several issues with the day-of coordination that were very frustrating and disappointing, particularly regarding Janet (DOC) and her team. Going into the wedding, we gave Janet and her team the benefit of the doubt, especially knowing that some of her team was younger and may have been less experienced with working weddings. We understood that weddings are busy and fast-paced, and we tried to be patient and not let minor issues overshadow such an important day. However, as the day progressed, it became clear there were several avoidable problems with communication, preparation, and oversight. Custom handheld fans were not placed on all ceremony chairs, bows were not fastened to every other end-of-aisle chairs, some chairs were dirty, and the seat covers were poorly placed. A family member noticed the seat covers still had not been set up with only 30 minutes remaining before the ceremony and had to bring it to the team’s attention. They appeared to rush to finish, resulting in many covers being placed crookedly. These were all details I had clearly communicated to Janet in advance, both in person and through text, and specifically expected her team to handle. It was frustrating to see such simple but important requests overlooked. Cocktail hour was another area that fell short. After the ceremony, no one directed guests from the ceremony garden to the cocktail patio, leaving many unsure of where to go. Staff would walk past guests carrying hors d’oeuvres without offering them, and several guests said they had to approach or chase down staff to get food. I had also specifically communicated with Janet WEEKS before the wedding that I wanted the reception doors kept closed during cocktail hour, but they were left wide open, allowing guests to enter the reception space and wander around. The pop-up bar I had requested for the patio was also not set up, so guests did not realize cocktail hour was intended to be outdoors and repeatedly went into the reception hall for drinks.The dessert table was also incredibly disappointing. Janet had told me and our dessert vendor that the vendor could arrive early to set up the table. However, when the vendor arrived, Janet instructed her to leave everything in the kitchen and did not allow her into the reception hall to set up. As a result, the dessert table was simply a plain table with trays of desserts, despite the vendor bringing decorations and tiers specifically to create a beautiful display. Our dessert vendor later told us she felt Janet was rude during their interaction. We also received feedback from guests about Janet’s behavior at the dessert table. Some guests said that while waiting in line, Janet was standing at the table placing desserts onto trays and told them to go around her rather than allowing them to continue through the line. This was especially disappointing because we expected our guests to feel welcomed and taken care of. Janet was also largely absent during our wedding because she was simultaneously running another wedding rehearsal, which was never communicated to us. We discovered this while my husband and I were taking pictures outside. I only saw her twice during the entire event. Overall, while our wedding itself was beautiful, the day-of coordination, communication, and attention to detail did not meet our expectations. Book with caution.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
If you’re looking for a low-stress wedding venue that offers incredible value, look no further. We held our wedding at The Mansion at Bald Hill on September 28, 2025, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We started touring venues in mid March, hoping to find a place that could host a small-ish wedding with an outdoor ceremony, indoor reception, and full food and drink service without sky high prices or hidden fees. I even built a spreadsheet comparing every option within a 50-mile radius, and The Mansion at Bald Hill definitely stood out. Many venues had undisclosed minimums, surprise costs, or odd restrictions, but the Mansion had none of that. The Mansion was transparent, elegant, and far more accommodating than we expected. We toured three venues total, saving the Mansion for last—honestly thinking it might be out of our price range or require too many guests. But as soon as we drove up the winding road and saw the gorgeous grounds, we started crossing our fingers. After our tour with Janet, the events director, and her clear breakdown of the options and pricing, we got in the car, looked at each other, and said, “Yep, this is the it!” No discussion needed. In the months leading up to the wedding, Janet was absolute wonderful to work with—responsive, organized, and genuinely kind. She answered every question promptly, accommodated all of our requests, and went above and beyond to make our day seamless. On the wedding day itself, she and the entire staff exceeded every expectation. The food was phenomenal, the bar and banquet teams were attentive and friendly, and every detail—from setup to timing—was handled perfectly. Choosing The Mansion at Bald Hill was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that’s stunning, stress free, and run by people who truly care about making your day special.

Perfect Wedding
Affordable, easy to work with, and beautiful venue. We loved that they offer a room for us to stay after the wedding. I believe brunch is included the next morning but we had an early flight and couldn’t enjoy it. The wedding was perfect and nothing went wrong. The guests liked the food. I was sad that I wanted more cake but they were quick to put away the utensils and plates. They gave us the cake after but because we were leaving early the next day and family had already left we had to leave the cake. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Memorable
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We wanted a venue with history, beautiful views, affordable, and only had one wedding a day -- and we got it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the bartenders were so thoughtful. One brought in mint from her garden, as mojitos were my favorite drink! While there were a few moments of uncertainty and lack of communication in the planning process, it didn't take away from the magic of the day. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and gorgeous views. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! Inside, the reception area was equally impressive, with plenty of room for dancing and celebrating. The food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a variety of options that everyone loved. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the decor to the service. Overall, our experience at this venue was nothing short of magical. We feel so lucky to have chosen this place to start our new chapter together. Highly recommend it to any couple looking for the perfect and affordable wedding venue!

Mansion at Bald Hill Wedding
The grounds and venue are beautiful, the food and bar service was great. The “coordinator” could of been more helpful. Guests were not directed where to go when they arrived which led to confusion. Set up and breakdown was left to the bridal party. Also beware of hidden fees day of. We paid for an open bar for 80 guests and during the reception were asked for a credit card because we reached our “bar limit”.
