The Rotherwood is a historic wedding estate in Winchester, Kentucky, where timeless character meets a relaxed, personal approach to celebrating. Centered around our 1887 Victorian home and Grand Carriage Hall, Rotherwood offers couples the freedom to create a wedding that feels uniquely their own, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, private getting-ready suites, multiple ceremony settings, and room to enjoy the Estate throughout their celebration. Rather than feeling like just another event on a busy venue calendar, weddings at Rotherwood are intentionally personal. From quiet moments on the porch and photographs throughout the historic grounds to an evening of celebrating in the Carriage Hall, our goal is to provide a beautiful setting where couples, families, and friends can slow down, be together, and create memories that will remain long after the wedding day.

This barn was meticulously constructed using mortise and tenon joints, wooden pegs, and sturdy wood beams. When you walk into the barn your eyes will be drawn upwards to the impressive 30 foot high ceilings! It is spacious enough to accommodate up to 230 guests. The Rotherwood Barn showcases many old world style features including: cast iron door handles, antique style lighting, old style oscillating fans, original old growth barn wood, and more.
